"Immediately I knew Jose’s Painting would be the company to not only bring my home back to life, but would protect it to SUSTAIN the impact of future elements, due to the proposal that was written with extensive care as to HOW they were going to get the house back into shape and WHAT they were going to use. My home has not been painted or stuccoed since the early 80's it needed TLC. This FAMILY OWNED company makes you feel like you are part of the family. Jose aka “Pops” had extensive details of how to make the project come together, while his son Jose had the modern perspective of how to keep the project in current times. The foremen, Elvis explained every detail whenever we had questions or requests. Allen, Gochi, and Ozzy showed up everyday with professionalism and care. The whole team is trustworthy and relatable. I will NOT use any other painting/stucco/interior/exterior specialist for any future project. The care and detail the team provided went above and beyond. WORTH every penny! This one is for the WIN!"

"John Villar, Northridge CertaPro owner, came out for an estimate, and discussed every detail of the paint job that would be completed. He was such an informative gentleman and very patient in answering our questions. The proposal he sent within a few days was precisely detailed with everything we discussed. The contract addressed every aspect of the service to be provided, and this made us confident in the job and the cost. The team of painters was friendly, neat, and explained the plans for each day. Their hard work was evident in the amount of prep work they did, the attention to detail, and their eagerness to please us. The paint job on our home’s exterior was the best we have had, We are thrilled with all aspects of the work, the genuine pride of workmanship in the painters, and the integrity of the owner. We highly recommend them."
Staining or painting kitchen cabinets can give your kitchen a brand new look without the cost of replacing the cabinets.
Stripes are popular and can be done in many different colors. Pink is just the right color for this little girl's nursery.
Painting the risers, banisters, and handrails on a stairway cn really make the difference in something that is often overlooked.
This modern home looks spectacular with the grey base color and stark white, contrasting the blue tinted windows.
This newer home makes great use of a popular earth tone color scheme, allowing the architectural features to stand on their own.

Customers say: True professional

"I recently had Aldo & Etel Painting paint the interior of my house, including walls, ceilings, doors, closets, and patching holes. And I can confidently say that they did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price! From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, Aldo & Etel Painting were professional, efficient, and accommodating. They paid great attention to detail, took their time to ensure that everything was done properly, and always kept me informed and involved in the process. But what impressed me most about them was their trustworthiness. They were respectful of my space and my privacy, took great care to protect my furniture and belongings, and ensured that everything was cleaned and tidy before leaving each day. In the end, my house looks absolutely amazing thanks to Aldo & Etel Painting! Their workmanship is top-notch, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality painting services at a fair and reasonable price. Don't hesitate to give them a call and see for yourself what a difference they can make!"

Small jobs welcome

"Humberto Reyes was a professional craftsman in every category he did for us.He painted interior, installed crown molding, removed old wallpaper, sanded and sealed walls for painting. He turned our old brick fireplace into a beautiful stone like masterpiece. He was always on time, showed up full of energy, and did everything he was asked to do in a friendly professional manner. We would highly recommend Humberto for any of your painting needs. He has a wonderful personality and a caring nature. His prices are always very fair! David and Dawn Perlin, Northridge"

"The work was completed in a professional way. The ceiling looks as good as new! The patching, painting and texturing were completed with all areas sealed off to keep the room clean. The cost was very reasonable and I am very pleased with the job Glamour Home Remodeling did."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, a magic eraser can remove candle wax. You can use it to remove all the candle wax from start to finish. Another option is to remove all large clumps with a dull knife and then pull out your magic eraser to finish the job. However, while the results can be impressive, a magic eraser shouldn’t be used on all surfaces since it can potentially damage them. If you try this method, test a small, hidden spot first and proceed cautiously.

A natural paint remover for metal is a solution of 16 parts water and one part baking soda or vinegar. When heated on your stovetop, these non-toxic household items combine into a highly effective solution that can be used to remove paint from small metal objects with tricky nooks and crannies.

Yes, vinegar can remove polyurethane from wood, but it is a slow, inefficient, and inconsistent restoration method. Whatever your intention, it’s best to avoid using vinegar on wood with a polyurethane finish—though it can be an effective cleaner for other wood finishes.

Yes, you can technically use a pressure washer to remove paint from brick, but it comes with a significant risk of damaging the brick surface. A high-power pressure washer can be fast but may leave the brick looking unsightly. The recommended method is to first apply a chemical paint stripper, following the product's instructions, and then use a stiff metal bristle brush or a pressure washer on a low-pressure setting to remove the loosened paint. Due to the risk of damage, it is often best to hire a professional who can use low-stress methods.

You can apply stain over peeling stain, but it’s not a good idea. Your old stain will get in the way of your new stain bonding to the wood, so you’re likely going to see the same issue again shortly after application. Your best option is to sand off the old stain and clean the surface thoroughly before applying new stain.
