"Executive pool replaced the pump and drive for my pool. They responded quickly after I called them. Trent, the service man was very good, did an excellent job replacing the pump and wiring in a new ground fault circuit breaker. Justin, the owner responded very quickly after I called him with my pump problem. They have also installed a new liner in my pool about a year ago, and converted my pool to a saltwater pool and I was very pleased with their work then also. I would highly recommend them!"

"It wasnâ  t the companyâ  s fault but there was a back order and plaster was delayed our pool from getting finished for over 3 1/2 months. It was disappointing but the company made it right by getting right on it the pool looks amazing"

"Blaine did a nice job of building a amazing pool. We are very pleased and would hire him again. Subs can be an issue, and iIf Blaine is not there to watch the subs, I would suggest you take the time to watch their work. There are 2 small areas of the final plaster, I would have liked to have turned out a little smother. It is strictly cosmetic and well under the water line. In fact after swimming in the pool this past summer, my wife is still not aware of it. A realtor neighbor said our pool was a $70,000 pool. I can assure you we paid far less than that! We are very happy with the final product."

"They sent someone out to come fix it. I go online when I have an issue, instead of calling. It is very easy. You go online and tell them what is broken. The respond with who will be coming out within 24 hours. They have different plans for different amounts of money. I have my house and pool covered. I pay a $75 copay a month. I have had them for several years, and have never had an issue."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Above all, the downside to building a new house is a longer timeline. You need several months to finish the build, depending on the supply chain and labor availability in the meantime. Building a home compared to buying one is also more expensive, both in the building process and when it comes to mortgage rates and property taxes.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Consultation with the local government helps identify necessary permits, avoid project delays or legal issues, and protect project integrity.

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.

Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:

  • Planning for construction projects, like building a fence

  • Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures

  • Settling property line disputes

  • Creating subdivisions

  • Meeting mortgage requirements

  • Selling your property
