Eric Olson HandymanFantastic. Erik and his crew did high-quality work. I've worked with home improvement contractors before on other houses and they are by far the best. Best of all, they were always polite, professional and fun to have around. My wife and small children were very comfortable with them working in our home as they were unobtrusive and always so positive. Costs were very reasonable. I look forward to working with them again.- Paul M.

Eric Olson HandymanMy husband has repeatedly tried to fix our sliding door, with a mixed level of success. Mr. Olson came out right away and had it fixed very quickly and cleanly. Would definitely use him again!- Michelle L.

Eric Olson HandymanEric asked very specific questions to make sure he did everything exactly the way I wanted it done. He and his wife worked well as a team. He hung a tapestry high above my stairs and put it exactly where and how I wanted it. I am very pleased with everything Eric did.- Darla E.

High Country ConstructionIt was great working with Loren and his team. I made an initial call for an estimate and setup a time to meet at my home. Loren arrived on-time. I walked through and discussed the work that I was interested in having done. Not only did Loren listen well he also made some great suggestions of which we ended up taking his advice which was much appreciated. We received an estimate back which clearly broke out the project so we could see how much each part of the job cost. I felt the estimate was reasonable and fair. After signing a contract, Loren gave me an estimate of when he'd start working and he was spot on. Communication was great and I was impressed with how he remembered all of the little details that we discussed upon first meeting. He and his workers are very respectful, polite and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The quality of work was excellent as well. They finished up earlier than I thought they would and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend High Country Construction for any of your projects. I've actually asked for a quote for a new walkway and patio and Loren and team will be doing this work for us.- Ron K.

High Country ConstructionHigh Country Construction has done multiple projects around our home and the work they have done for the price is unbelievable. Always on time, always professional, very clean and we are always amazed at the job when they are done. Top notch company that we will continue to use in the future for all our home projects.- Jason R.

High Country ConstructionLoren with High Country Construction was prompt with the estimate and start date. He was very knowledgeable and professional and there were no surprises! Job was completed quickly and outcome was better than expected! We had some tricky requests for the guest bedroom closet and Loren was able to make it all work. He and his crew were also very clean while doing the job! We would highly recommend High Country Construction and plan to use them again for future projects!- Leah B.

High Country ConstructionLoren was thorough, prompt (work was completed EXACTLY when he promised it--highly unusual for a contractor.) His crew were polite, hard-working, and even made some last-minute changes on the spot at my request. I would recommend them to anyone! I chose them based on customer reviews on Angie's list. I'm very happy!- Anna S.

High Country ConstructionThe remodel on the kitchen went very smoothly. The roof patch he did still doesn't leak we need to put a roof on the whole house and we will have High country do that next summer. The floor he did is beautiful and everyone always pays compliments. High country came in and started on the roof loren explained we had to fix that so the new kitchen would stay dry. Loren and his crew demo the old kitchen and we found allot of old dangerous wiring loren always assured me this is ok and its part of doing a remodel on a old house. The kitchen went a lot faster then i anticipated loren did recessed lighting all new plumbing cherry cabinets and granite counters high country did all the work except the granite. As soon as the kitchen was complete Hcc started on the flooring it took High country know time at all to finish laying the hardwood.- Michael G.

High Country ConstructionLoren and crew are the most reliable and honest contractors I have ever come across. I have had them work on so many different things, from my home to my businesses, so I don't know what to say about the date and monetary amount. It varies. EVERY time they say they will be there, they are, which most people know is NOT typical of contractors. Their word is gold in my opinion. Not to mention, the work Loren and crew does is the best quaity. I know if you weren't satisified, they would come back until you were, with no extra charges (unless upgrades from original plans I would assume). I haven't been unhappy, so I haven't put this to the test, but feel strongly he would do so. They are extremely clean as well. Each day when they would leave, they would completely clean up after themselves, and you wouldn't know they were there. THAT is rare. I have referred him to multiple friends and clients of mine, and have always had positive feedback. HIGHLY recommend High Country Construction.- Terri D.

12/28/20 Update (Rating and Details will be updated as project progresses): Pro Superior Construction was the 5th and final bidder for full replacement of siding and windows for my 2-story 2,000 sf home. I was about to award one of their competitors and thought why not give them a bid. I was impressed by Todd and Dan, their salesmen - their responsiveness, knowledge, and courtesy was unmatched even amongst the various other James Hardie certified installers included in my RFP. They were not the cheapest, but I awarded them the project in October 2020 based on the above mentioned attributes. For context, my profession is managing commercial real estate for global companies which encompasses managing multi-million dollar construction projects throughout the state. I work with contractors daily if not hourly. On Nov. 4, 2020, Dan came by to capture some missed window measurements. I paid him the deposit as well as the 20% payment for materials. The check was deposited and cleared on Nov. 5. Materials were being ordered and the longest lead time was 3-4 weeks for windows. Everything went downhill fast. The project was handed over to their scheduler, Brogen. In the next 7 weeks I spoke with Brogen no less than 6 or 7 times. He is very courteous however we has dropped the ball on every single delivery he promised. The last 5 times I called him - and this is not an exaggeration - the conversation started with him profusely apologizing for a missed deliverable. My project was scheduled to start on 12/22. On 12/21 when I did not receive any details as to dumpster delivery, arrival times, crew size and name of lead foreman, I tried contacting Brogen multiple times without response. So I escalated to Todd who, up until this point has been responsive. He also didn't get back to me so I called Dan, who called me back the same day and told me he'd check with Brogen on scheduling. Brogen called me back and again apologized for not scheduling per protocol, stating he wrote the dates on a whiteboard which got inadvertently erased, and as a result the project start was moved to 1/4/21. I pushed back. Me and my lady took off 2 weeks to accommodate a 12/22/20 start. Brogen worked to get a crew to start Mon 12/28. Then on Sun 12/27, I get a text from Brogen apologizing that the crew needs to start on Tue 12/29 due to needing to pick up remaining materials for project. At this juncture my comfort level with Pro Superior is shot. All the good work and rapport developed has been undone. Nonetheless I'm still confident this could be salvaged with the install crew. More updates to follow once project is substantially complete. Update as of 3.04.2021 Wow did Pro Superior Construction (PSC) come through in the end. These guys had to deliver in a major fashion to recover from 2 stars to 5, and they did. First, PSC sent an absolute rock-star crew. I mean 5-8 people each and every day busting their butts. This crew (Alex/Vitaly and team) saved the day. They showed up each and every day (some Saturdays too) on time (7:45-8am) and stayed until the sun went down. They took breaks in brevity and worked tireless from beginning to end of shift. I work from home and have observed each and every crew member. Alex/Vitaly's crew work extremely well together, very efficient with excellent synergies. And the level of customer service was outstanding. Just a great group of folks all the way around. Todd (sales) and Brogen (scheduling) also stepped up in a big way, taking care of missed scope and ensuring the project was completed to my full satisfaction. I am in the real estate industry so am very particular about details. In the end I'm extremely happy with the decision to award PSC my project despite the initial schedule and communication issues. PSC owned up to these faults and never made excuses, and also admitted to some lessons learned. This goes a long way with me. I would not hesitate to use them again and have already recommended them to several neighbors who have complimented me on my home. **12/28/20 Update 2/5 Stars (Rating and Details will be updated as project progresses)** Pro Superior Construction was the 5th and final bidder for full replacement of siding and windows for my 2-story 2,000 sf home. This is in addition to provided service at home: I'm a disabled individual and travel is always difficult and dangerous for me. But on my last trip to Las Vegas I discovered a good service provided at Treasure Island, one of seven hotels that provides Surehands Ceiling tracks. I liked it because of its ease of use and safety it provides and its installment by Lift and Specialists who maintains this quality equipment and train hotel engineers who are ready to help around the clock.

Hawkins has now done two whole-house window replacements for us. This second home is a one-of-a-kind designed Mid-Century Modern classic home, and we have been very fussy about how the windows needed to look in order to retain the essential look and style of the old window styles. Hawkins has been able to provide us with really spectacular replacements. Gary Hawkins, the owner, came personally to look at our home and listen to our concerns, and then was able to select the precise windows we asked for. We find them to be reasonably priced and responsive to concerns. Since they have done multiple jobs for us, we know they do a great job of keeping their customers happy and also hit the "budget-friendly" button, too! This project includes replacing 3 sliding glass doors, (one which is 10 feet wide), 18 windows, (3 of which are 8+ feet wide picture windows), 4 floor-to-ceiling fixed tempered windows, and 3 specialty reeded glass windows.

Excellent experience with this company. They lent us a portable air conditioner while we waited for our new air conditioner to be installed. They helped us with financing the new system. All the service employees were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They even came out to help us after the office was closed. I fully recommend their company.
