Loren is a standup family man that takes his business, your project, and your satisfaction seriously.  He is Responsive, Responsible, Timely and On Budget.  The results are Beautiful.  
A tenant had complained  to me about  something within a year of the completion.  I asked Loren to call her and check on it.  She did not  return his call or say anything about it again, but when I was showing it to a prospective tenant late August 2015 I could see she had unscrewed something in the tube, so I thought it must not be working again.   Called, Loren. He came Promptly out, and whatever he did when he put it back in place, it wound up being a  non issue as it now works properly.  Thanks Loren!
I usually do my own construction, but it was not the best approach on this project.   I did not know Loren at all, but I prayed about  what outfit I should have get this job done, and I feel Truly Blessed to have had him do this major project for me.
Complete Bathroom, Tile, drywall ( the subcontractor put in 1/4 inch drywall so specify if you want 1/2 inch, it turned out well, stud expansion, electrical, tape texture, painting.  Insulation (a worker started putting in a lower R rated material, Loren got on it and even put a bit higher from what I recall).   He can get it all done and and on time.   
Even if you have to wait a bit to get on his schedule, it"s Worth the Wait!  God Bless!

The screened porch involved removing existing stucco, installing siding for new interior and exterior walls, knotty pine T&G ceiling, ceiling fan, outlets, switches, outdoor light, skylight and pet door. Loren (the contractor) was very helpful in making suggestions for design and used first-class materials. His workmen did a superior job; even the building inspector was impressed! The porch came out better than we envisioned. Loren and his workers are always professional and cordial, and cleaned up the work site each day before leaving.

From initial contact to completed service, Loren and Anthony were prompt, courteous, and thoughtful. Loren met with me within hours of contacting him. I showed him the drywall repairs I needed (and there were several). He took notes and asked questions. I received an organized and very reasonable bid from by that evening. That alone was excellent follow-through. The work was promptly scheduled. He and Anthony arrived promptly for work. Loren reviewed the needed tasks with Anthony and the job was underway. Follow-up of the completed job was prompt, efficient, and a good business practice.
I am extremely pleased with the results. I attribute this to the quality, care, and consideration of details by High Country Construction. I will definitely call Loren for any jobs I may have in the future.

They did excellent work. I just bought a house and it needed some work done and they did it beautifully. Altogether they did about $3000 worth of work. The supervisor showed up with the workers and made sure they did a good job. They're very prompt in response, they're efficient and they do excellent work.

The service worked out great. They performed what was required, and they performed it in a timely manner mostly. The experience was mostly good, but the main concern was that they guys they had do the texturing and the painting, and finish work on the sheet rock did a crummy job. He had to come back and redo it. Somehow they decided to keep the rug in place, and when they pulled up the rug, they damaged the sheet rock, and they had to come back and fix that. Lawren was very fair with his pricing. We will be getting the final bill tomorrow. He has been very fair, and if something needs to be taken care of, he was right on it to get it fixed. We would use them again, but would request him to ask somebody else to do the texturing.

Loren did exactly what he said he'd do for the quoted price. There were a few things that were uncovered after work had begun, he quoted prices on the additional repair and completed them as agreed upon. The work was completed in a timely manner. The house was neat and tidy when he left.
He was very professional in our dealings with him; I would not be hesitant to recommend him.

Loren was thorough, prompt (work was completed EXACTLY when he promised it--highly unusual for a contractor.) His crew were polite, hard-working, and even made some last-minute changes on the spot at my request. I would recommend them to anyone! I chose them based on customer reviews on Angie's list. He spruced up the front porch with some new wood and tightening down what was there. I believe he did some work to our back porch as well. He has been one of the better people we’ve worked with. I will be looking forward to doing future work with him soon. He’s a great a guy.

Loren recommended improvements to the deck that turned out to be very necessary due to the age of the deck and saved us more repairs in the future. He was very professional, punctual and was very easy to work with. The installation of the windows was challenging due to the design of the house but turned out great! I would recommend that you give High Country Construction a call . If we need any type of job we will call him again.

Loren and his crew did a great job! It's so good we want him to come back to do the rest of the house. They started by removing all of the rotten and worn out siding and other stuff that's under it until they got to good, healthy and viable structures. There was more damage than originally thought but Loren had prepared us for that possibility. He went over everything with me and discussed what had happened to cause the issue in the first place. (It was a poorly constructed gutter at the chimney and poor quality and worn out moisture layer underneath the siding).
Once they cleared everything out they started to rebuild it using highest quality materials and took care of the underlying problems. Once it was all put back together we were amazed at how good everything looked. They cleaned up all of the mess. I took before and after pictures (but can't figure out how to download them here...I'll ask my teenager to do it later).
They were courteous and punctual and did the job within the time that we agreed upon and within budget. It has now been about 6 months and everything still looks good and there are no problems.
We are hoping to have Loren and his crew out again to take care of other issues we want to address next.

It was great working with Loren and his team.  I made an initial call for an estimate and setup a time to meet at my home.  Loren arrived on-time.  I walked through and discussed the work that I was interested in having done.  Not only did Loren listen well he also made some great suggestions of which we ended up taking his advice which was much appreciated.  We received an estimate back which clearly broke out the project so we could see how much each part of the job cost.  I felt the estimate was reasonable and fair.  After signing a contract, Loren gave me an estimate of when he'd start working and he was spot on.  Communication was great and I was impressed with how he remembered all of the little details that we discussed upon first meeting.  He and his workers are very respectful, polite and did a great job cleaning up after themselves.  The quality of work was excellent as well. They finished up earlier than I thought they would and exceeded my expectations.
I highly recommend High Country Construction for any of your projects.  I've actually asked for a quote for a new walkway and patio and Loren and team will be doing this work for us.
