"They did a great job. They rebuilt my closet, hung curtain rods, fixed a kitchen cabinet and drawers as well as a few other small projects. It was very reasonably priced and done quickly. I would definitely hire again."

"GREAT. Dave with a business name of "I'll Handle It" really did handle everything. To begin with, Dave was right on time, he was dressed neatly and had a good appearance. He had all the tools/equipment needed to complete my tiny job. I needed a floating shelf removed and a new one hung and to assemble a book case. After the book case was assembled, I needed 3 more shelves installed in open spaces of the book case. I also needed some 2 shelves installed that would act as support so some of the bookcase shelves wouldn't sag.... Dave was able to do all of my requestes with ease. When he was finished, Dave removed all of the trash. If I need any other items hung or assembled, I will, without a doubt, Call Dave as like his business card and the name of his business say "I'll Handle It". and that is exactly what he does. P.S. he also had a great sense of humor and made me laugh. THANKS DAVE... you are the best"

Our Story\nWhat started as a simple desire to help neighbors with their IKEA builds has grown into one of San Diego's most trusted assembly and handyman services. Stephan Lawrence founded SD Assembly Pros with a straightforward mission: deliver honest, high-quality workmanship at fair prices -- and treat every customer's home like his own.\n\nWith years of hands-on experience in furniture assembly, carpentry, plumbing, TV mounting, and general home improvement, Stephan built his reputation one satisfied customer at a time. He noticed that too many San Diego homeowners were stuck choosing between overpriced contractors and unreliable handymen. SD Assembly Pros was created to fill that gap.\n\nToday, the company serves families, renters, property managers, and businesses throughout San Diego County. Whether it is a complex standing desk setup, a backyard pergola installation, or a full room of flat-pack furniture,

Small jobs welcome

"Ed Leisure is great and a man of his word. However, the granite man was a prima dona, way behind the schedule he promised, and finished the job on a Saturday with a strong santa anna wind blowing and got granite dust all over my house, among other complaints."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

The only pools that don’t need grounding are those without electrical components, such as small inflatable pools. Any outlet around a pool should be a GFCI to cut the current if the outlet gets too wet. At the very least, the pool’s electrical should be plugged into a GFCI outlet, if not a dedicated GFCI breaker. Check local guidelines and requirements to ensure you’re following all safety regulations.

If a pool turns green after adding salt, there’s a good chance the salt is the problem. Certain brands of salt have high levels of iron that cause pool water to take on a green hue. Test your pool water to determine if this is the issue. The green color will usually filter out. Brush the sides of the pool to knock the iron off.

This is just one reason a pool can turn green that is specific to adding salt. Many other reasons a pool can turn green include algae growth, low chlorine levels, a faulty filter, etc.

The steps to fill a swimming pool will depend on your local building codes. However, it starts with draining the pool of all water using a submersible pump. Then your pro will lift the pool shell from the ground or break it into pieces for individual removal. The next step is filling the cavity with dirt and gravel and topping it with topsoil. Once a structural engineer deems the site safe, landscaping can start.

Pool maintenance costs an average of $230 per service, with prices ranging from $50 to $750 per service, depending on several factors. The type of service will usually be the most significant cost factor, as opening and closing a pool takes a few hours and can total $400 or more, while regular cleanings could cost under $100. The size of your pool and the type of pool—above-ground, in-ground, saltwater—can also affect the price of maintenance.

Yes, it's possible to make an aboveground zero-edge pool. Note that it's most common to build an inground one, but, if you raise the deck and surrounding poolscape, you can install an aboveground version. Keep in mind, if you need to haul in dirt, it can significantly raise your land prep costs.
