"We needed 60 feet of new gas line installed - from outdoor gas meter, under the house & up through a wall to under a kitchen counter - and new gas stove-top connected. We got 4 proposals and estimates. Jay Green's proposed work was the same as the others but his price was less than 1/2 what the others were. ($850 vs. $1800) Same work, same materials, 1/2 the cost. Mr. Green and one assistant finished the work in 6 hours. Very courteous, absolutely professional. We had PGE come to inspect the work and they gave it full approval. We had Jay back two weeks later to change-out two sticky, leaky shower controls. Jay showed us the inferior plastic materials a previous plumber had installed three years ago for $150, and put in authentic Moen brass parts for 3/4 what we paid the other guy. For our next project, I'll call Jay first."

"We loved working with Repair and Remodel Experts. They were
professional, polite, accommodating and stayed on task. They met our
deadline and the work they did was fantastic. Being a church, we
appreciated their work ethic and the demeanor of their crew. We didn't
have to worry that we would have visitors who might hear inappropriate
behavior or language coming from the construction area (which was right
next to our current office space.

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Depending on the appliance and labor requirements, costs range from $150 to $500.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Yes, you can lay a gas grill flat during transportation. Laying it flat can help prevent it from moving around the truck during the journey. It’s still advisable to secure the grill with bungee cords, just in case.
