He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. "I contacted R & R Remodeling because they were recommended to me through my church.  They came out to assess the situation promptly and gave me an estimate within just a few days.  The fee seemed reasonable to me, and this window was preventing further progress on our living room project, so we said yes.  They began work the next week.
I was very pleased with the work of Bill the framer who works with R & R Remodeling experts.  He got started a bit later in the morning than I was expecting, but that is the only thing that I have to say that is even slightly less than glowing.  Bill was very knowledgeable and professional throughout.  He was very thoughtful and concerned about getting the window weather sealed and making everything look as if this work never needed to be done in the first place.  He cleaned up after himself as he went along.  He had all the tools he needed for the job with him and worked steadily and efficiently until the job was done.  If only all builders could be like this.  This window is now perfectly installed in our living room wall and we can proceed with trimming it out and finishing our project.  Yay!"

"The guy was great. I had several of the contractor who took a look at the job. They said the deck had to be replaced. the other contractors did not diagnose the rot at the foot of the house. When Gilbert took it apart. it was completely rotted. Which other contractors would have discovered once they began the work. Gilbert repaired the deck instead of replacing it. only Gilbert diagnosed the rotted footer in the house in advance. Gilbert will be replacing my roof this fall. Out of all the contractors, Gilbert's price was less than 1/3 of the offer of other because they wanted to replace the deck and it did include repair to the house."
