"Overall, I was very pleased with the service. I had six window screens repaired. I was told that there was a minimum of $150.00 requirement. I wasn’t told this in advance, the cost was approx. $22 per window, times 6=$132.00. We settled on $140.00."

Small jobs welcome

"He was professional, extremely efficient in his knowledge and capabilities with the jobs. He went above and beyond to get the work done timely. He maintained my tankless water heater (pic attached), solar panel cleaning and repair of low voltage lighting to my font and back yard. I will be having him back for more house projects and he will be handling all my recurring maintenance as needed. On top of that, he prices are reasonable in comparison to others and he is trustworthy. He is a great find."

Window Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Typically every 10-15 years or whenever they show signs of wear and tear.

You can trim an overhead garage door screen to fit your garage door opening. This is a particularly helpful hack if you have an irregularly sized garage door opening but are still interested in installing a garage door screen to keep pests and debris out. Trim the garage door screen carefully to avoid unsightly edges or an uneven fit.

Yes, you can absolutely put a screen on a casement window, and most casement windows come with screens. Unlike with a double-hung, single-hung, or sliding window, the screen in a casement window sits on the inside of the window so that the sash can freely open outward. Screens are especially important for casement windows because the large window opening the window provides leaves your home more open to bugs and outside debris than most other types of operable windows.

The cost ultimately depends on size, but roughly, the most popular screen materials will set you back anywhere from around $0.25 to over $25 per square foot. Fiberglass and aluminum are usually less expensive at around $0.25 to $0.70 per square foot. Solar screens cost about $7.50 to $15 per square foot, while security screens range from around $10 to $25 per square foot.

A screened-in porch requires maintenance to keep the screens clean and in good shape, and you may have to do some screen repair or replacement from time to time. A screen porch isn’t an all-season porch, so the weather can get in, including wind and rain.
