"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

"We hired EDI to renovate our home in Sunnyvale. The project included a complete kitchen remodel, extending it to the other room, removing some walls, a new island and recessed lights and custom cabinets. We also renovated all three bathrooms and all bedrooms in the house, all have been pretty much "gutted-out" and redone. Everything looks amazing, I just can't believe that this is the same old property that we have purchased recently. We found this company after months of research and after almost giving up on finding a contractor that we felt is reliable and professional enough to undertake such a project. We got lucky enough to find EDI and couldn't be happier. Two of our friends are already showing interest in renovating their homes as well with this company, and I think it says it all :)"

"Project: Full kitchen remodel, full 2 bathroom remodels, full rewiring (smart home) In short: full home remodel :-) We choose Brother n Brother after interviewing 10+ contractors as we found them very detailed oriented and upfront on various details during the first appointment itself. Ido was our original project manager and later Eitan joined the hands too and both of them were available throughout the project. Since we heard a lot of negative feedback about general contractors in Bay Area, we were a bit cautious to begin with and so started with full kitchen remodel project only. However Ido and Eitan did such a superb kickstart, we were impressed even before the actual work began but we still waited for a couple of weeks after kitchen work started and after seeing their professional work, caring attitude and attention to details, we end-up adding full remodel of both the bathrooms and later full electric project also (full rewiring with all the smart switches and outlets, adding recessed lights and ring cameras etc.). This was for recently purchased home originally built in 1960 and was not in superb condition. Brother n Brother made this home look like a brand new one. We did go through few hoops here n there, mostly because of delays in inspection or a couple of surprises due to very old flooring, plumbing line etc. Ido and Eitan discussed / provided various options for all such issues, and resolved tem in a timely manner and in a very professional way while staying on the budget. Any/all minor issues were taken care without even charging extra, even if they had to put more efforts / labor to resolve that. Both Ido and Eitan provided various help / consultancy in choosing the right design and also helped in buying all the materials (tiles, cabinets netc.) and picked them as well, this was all so hassle free experience. Overall they have provided such an amazing service throughout this period, they have become a close friend more than the project managers. Thanks you very much Brother & Brother for all your great work to remodel my home. We simply love living in our new home, feels so much like a brand new home."

"The team of four was very professional and performed an excellent job in a record period of time. Just one day to take the old furnace away, replace all the old boots and duct work and install the new furnace. They paid a lot of attention not to damage or dirty the floor/carpet. I am very happy with their performance. They may not be the cheapest on the block but it was all worthed and you only have to do that once in your lifetime."

"It went very well for an office space, Sam and his crew performed an awesome work. He helped us with the permits and choosing materials. Right after the demolition, they worked to upgrade plumbing and electrical, then they called for rough inspections, the inspections passed with flying colors, then the installation of the cabinets, counters, and flooring was very fast and professionally done. They also passed final inspection with flying colors."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

There are a variety of hooks available you can use to hang your Christmas lights on concrete without drilling unsightly holes. Attaching hooks on gutters or using construction adhesive in a caulk gun are two options that work very well for getting hooks to stay up all season.

Between the relatively simple process and the lower cost of installing recessed lighting yourself, it’s not a bad idea to DIY this project. It will take a little reading on electrical safety and how to properly wire your new recessed fixture, but it’s fairly easy to install a new fixture in just a couple of hours if you have the right tools and supplies on hand. But, if you’re not familiar with lighting installation, hiring a professional can give you peace of mind and ensure the job is done right.

When replacing a chandelier, there is little need to do any significant re-modifications. The cost will vary depending on whether the existing wiring is functional. Expect to pay around $115 to $280. If you install a chandelier in a position without any wiring, installation costs range from $145 to $400. Certain factors can also increase the price, such as upgrading junction boxes or installing heavy fixtures.

Track lighting features multiple light fixtures attached to a linear track, allowing adjustable positioning and easy addition or removal of lights. It offers flexibility and is ideal for highlighting specific areas or objects. Rail lighting, a subtype of track lighting, utilizes a curved or flexible rail instead of a straight track. This design allows for more versatile light placement.

It’s technically possible to install your own outdoor lighting, but we only recommend it for wireless set-ups, which won’t last as long as wired outdoor lights. Installing wired lighting around your property requires help from a professional electrician, especially since improper installation can increase the risk of fire. You may need a licensed professional to pull an electrical permit for you and sign off on the work. We suggest leaving the work to an expert to ensure good design, maximum security for your home, and the best quality work possible that will last for decades.
