"They have been great. In our case, we have a wood shingle house in a somewhat dangerous fire zone. It needed exterior treatments. They outlined our options and included a choice for making our home much more fire resistant - "Flame Stop 2". I'd seen it in my own research, but they were the ones to bring it up as a possibility. We chose Cani over another paint contractor who quotes a lower price, but Cani described the work they would perform and it was significantly more thorough and that convinced us to go with the higher quote. It has absolutely been worth it. They are on the last day of their work, and it looks beautiful. What a great crew and absolutely excellent workmanship. I recommend them highly."

Yes, you can use a pressure washer to help with deck paint removal. One of the benefits of pressure washing is its speed. However, a pressure washer is best used with a paint stripper. A paint stripper helps the paint lift from the wood, and then you can use the pressure washer to remove the paint effectively. To increase the longevity of the wood, you want to avoid using more than 1000 PSI on your pressure washer, as too much moisture will penetrate the wood and may cause mildew or rot.

While power washing isn't a requirement before you stain a fence, it can make the job much easier and faster while reducing manual labor requirements. The stain will not work if the wood is full of dirt and dust, so power washing, sometimes called pressure washing, is a fast and effective way to prepare the wood for staining. You should wait until your pavers have completely dried and cured before pressure washing them. Wait at least three to five days, though some sealants may need up to an entire week. Rushing that timeline can mess with the finish, weaken the seal, or leave streaks that are tough to fix. Once the sealant has fully set, stick to a gentle approach. Keep the pressure under 1,500 PSI and hold the nozzle at least two feet from the surface. Anything stronger or closer can blast the joint sand loose or wear down the sealant you just applied.
