"Great. Initially I was going to just get blinds cut at home depot and install it myself. Then I was too busy and decided I was going to hire Chris to install the blinds I got. However, he quoted me a price that was a bit more expensive than Home Depot, but it was custom cut blinds (so that the length also fit the windows) and the price was not by much more. It was definitely more competitive than the 4 other contractors I got quotes from. The only downside was I was told it would be about 2 weeks and it took 4 weeks for the blinds to come in. At the end of the day, it was a minor inconvenience for me. I still got a great price, and when the blinds did come in, Chris got one of his workers to come in on a weekend morning (the guy told me he was working OT) to accommodate my busy schedule. Once he unpacked all the blinds, it was extremely efficient and the installer was very professional. So, I really have no complaints. The blinds were beautiful and did fit perfectly as guaranteed. Chris originally came by to measure my windows at my request (I initially measured them and sent it to him for a quote) just to make sure. He was great and easy to work with. "had purchased this on a Deal. I moved my office to the in-law suite, and wanted something outside my norm - yet not too jarring. The decoraator is in Mass. We communicated via email, Pinterest., Houzz, their website and phone conference. I planned to reuse my light cherry office furniture, but needed to get rid of the white wall look. I sent photos of the room and a floor plan. I answered their online style questionaire and sent photo of the furnishing, my favorite Arts n Crafys desktop lamp and some of the art work I wanted to use. The result was a vibrant palate that is invigorating and joyful to work in. Using the colors from some paintings I collected in Africa15 years ago and my electric taste. the result was very bold. (Formerly my definition of bold was any color other than white or beige. The cair rail and lower walls are a terracotta with a rich deep gold on top. The remaining woodwork and doors are a dark slate gray with a satin finish. (Really - no white glossy woodwork.) I feel like I am in some exotic place when I work. I have met with other designers in the past. They ask your likes, then tell you what think regardless. Not so here, the process was interactive, two sided and balanced. The results are stunnung. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, even if no big deal is available.
