"Visit went well. The plumber was very professional and clean. He was able to get my water heater going again and gave me valuable information on tankless water heaters that I will eventually have installed by this company. Professionals!"

"When we purchased the house, it was a 30 year old home. Almost everybody in the period of five years to seven years wanted to convert to copper plumbing. So what they offered at that time was anyone you referred to if they chose to use their service, you have $500 cash payment which was really nice because half of our neighbors and our family members used them. I do not know what they do now, but it is a really nice service because they are a very good company. They did a great job."

"I'd been having a problem with the toilet draining in my guest bathroom for a long time. Soon it became apparent that the sink and tub were also having the same problem---the entire bathroom wasn't draining well. Multiple plumbing companies had come out and multiple things had been tried, to no lasting avail. Due to a previous hydroflush and camera I knew there were roots in the line and that was possibly the problem. So when I saw the 'deal' for $300 for root removal and flushing, I called them out. They spend quite a bit of time cutting the roots and flushing. However sadly that didn't fix the problem. The bathroom in question was at the farthest end of the plumbing line. So I called them back out. A different person than the first person came out. We had to knock a hole in the wall to access the toilet clean out but once that was snaked the toilet worked well. However then he had to use the sink clean out to help the sink to drain. Then he tried to snaking the tub, but was unable. As the tub did drain (even if a bit slow) we decided to leave it at that as it is my guest bath and not much used. The extra work was $275. However it has now been over a month and everything is working well. We are SO pleased to be able to use our toilet again after many months of non-use! Both of the people who came out were very polite and professional. I would certainly use this company again.

Got a deal for $39 for sewer line video for a property in escrow , John came out great guy , easy going good sense if humor yet maintains professionalism. He actually performed two different videos for me sewer and main line
Sewer came up with minor issues he showed me exactly and explained what was occurring.
I had him come a week later after finding out that the main line runs under slab foundation so I decided I needed a second video of the main line. When he came out he noticed there's only a one way clean so he tried to camera through toilet to my disappointment his camera would go through the toilet pipe, he explained that it's due to all the narrowness and corrosion from old galvanized piping.
I got no actual video inspection of the main line he says he still has to charge me $150 for the service that I didn't get, I didnt fight the fee because I felt that it was due to the condition of the pipes and I at least know what to expect. My husband did ask for him to bring down the $150 since he didn't actually run the camera down any piping but john said he couldn't bring the fee down any further since it was already at a reduced price. Before calling them I did shop around for this type of service and this company was the cheapest.
I'm not happy that I paid and I really didn't get a true video inspection but it was due to the condition of pipes. john did look for a second clean out but the property only had one a one way clean out which led to the city and not back into the house.

"The service was very good. They were exceptional. He went over and above with the work. They cleaned everything up well and were polite. When I had one of the pipes break in my garage he came right back out to repair that at no charge. I feel like I got my money's worth for the service from them."

"One of our galvanized water pipes burst on the evening of Christmas Day. The pipe in issue was underneath the house, which is built on a concrete slab. There is no ready access to the pipework. On December 26, we called one plumber we knew, who said that our floors would need to be jackhammered. Very messy. Joe Wachtel of Monkey Wrench, arriving at our home about an hour after calling him on Dec 26, suggested shutting down the galvanized pipework and installing copper piping running across the roof (we have no roof cavity). Genius. His team had it done in a couple of days - and it wasn't easy, as walls needed to be opened to find connecting pipes. Hurrah! Running water and operational toilets!! The patch work to the walls (great job) and other odds and ends were completed in January, with a missed external hose bib getting done for no labor charge (thanks, Joe). In a nutshell, Monkey Wrench provided a highly practical solution to what was a really awkward problem, and worked efficiently. No, it wasn't cheap, as it was a big job, but the fact that we are happy with the work notwithstanding the cost involved is testament to Monkey Wrench's professionalism.

"Ericsen came out and took care of a very troublesome leak. I had multiple companies out trying to find the leak and he was the only one to find, diagnose and provide a detailed list of options for repairs. Ended up getting my home repiped, which was done within a day and he followed it up with drywall and stucco patching. Amazing company and amazing individual. Found my plumber for life!"

"One of my toilets backed up which also caused the shower to back up. I had 2 different plumbers over to try and snake it, but in both cases, it did nothing. I was told that the clog was most likely further out towards the street. I called Bob & Marc and they asked about a mainline cheanout. My house is over 50 years old so it didn't have one. Initially the estimate was about $1200 to get the mainline cleanout installed, but I was told after they put the camera through that it would have to be quite a bit more because my pipes were 6ft down from the house where they could get the cleanout installed. I accepted, they removed parts of my deck, dug down 6 ft, installed the cleanout, jetted out the pipe and ran a camera through to make sure everything was clear. After they were finished, they put the deck back together--not beautifully, but then again, they are plumbers so I wasn't expecting much.
There was a bit of mishap when they were fixing a water pipe under the house for me (which I asked about and they threw in for free) which was leaking. Unfortunately, while they were adjusting it, that caused water from a pipe in one of my bathrooms to start spewing water uncontrollably. As a result, my hardwood was damaged. I'm not sure why the water was never turned off before performing their fix, although I never asked.
