"We had a concrete walkway that had sunk and became a trip hazard. Removing and replacing the concrete would have been more costly and inconvenient than the lift Saber did and the work exceeded expectations. I'm thoroughly pleased and highly recommend Saber to others!"

"Sergio Construction is an outstanding job on our projects. We were so pleased with their work that we added additional projects that were on our “to do” list. All were completed in a timely manner. We have called Sergio Construction for several other maintenance projects since our original project. They are excellent."

"I hired Morello Concrete to build a retaining wall in my front yard. They did a fantastic job and built exactly what I wanted. Brian did a great job keeping me updated with info on the project and Joe was also very communicative during the process. There was an issue with the smooth finish applied to the wall and they had to come back out and repair it, but they were very open with me about what happened and fixed it no questions asked. I would highly recommend them for any concrete or block project that you need done."

"It was fine but we chose not to do any business with them.  They quoted us $1500.  The sealer they wanted to use itself was expensive so we didn’t want to spend that kind of money.  They seemed to know what they were doing.  They were quite pleasant.  They got right back to me, gave me a quote quickly and seemed knowledgeable about the whole process.   "

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Welders use a variety of methods in their trade. Different types of welding are better suited for different purposes and contexts. For example, stick welding is a versatile form suitable for most metals and alloys. The most common types of welding include:

  • Stick welding: $100–$1,000

  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Gas welding: $150 and up

  • Forge welding: $15–$25 per hour

Cutting round ductwork requires precision and the right tools. A duct cutter, specifically designed for circular ducts, is ideal. First, mark the cutting line on the duct using a measuring tape and pencil. Then, position the duct cutter's blade on the marked line. Apply steady pressure, rotating the cutter around the duct. The sharp blade creates a clean, precise cut. Alternatively, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade can be used for larger round ducts. Ensure the duct is securely held in place while making the cut to prevent slips and maintain accuracy.

Cutting rectangular ductwork requires careful measurements and the right technique. Use a measuring tape and pencil to mark the cutting lines accurately. Tin snips are excellent for straight cuts on smaller ducts. For more extensive or thicker rectangular ducts, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade is effective.

Ensure the duct is well-supported and secure while cutting to prevent wobbling and maintain precision. After cutting, use a metal file to smooth any sharp edges, ensuring safety during installation.

Some welding projects, such as repairing pipes or fences, require travel, whereas others, like furniture repair, do not necessarily require the welder to come to you. Travel and overhead factor into the overall cost of your welding project. Some of the most common welding projects include:

  • Metal furniture repair: $35–$100

  • Pipe repair: $200–$1,000

  • Small gates: $550–$750

  • Fencing: $1,200–$1,800

  • Fabricated sheet metal welding: $750–$2,500

While a high-speed circular saw will cut through metal, and even cut through multiple sheets at once, the fast-spinning saw blades create a lot of heat. This heat can damage paint and other protective coatings, leading to serious problems like rust over time. The cost to paint a metal roof again to avoid this damage is typically an additional $0.50 to $1 per square foot.
