He suspected our maid was using something oily like Pine-Sol, but I found out later they use a stone & granite cleaner, so that's not it after all. I hope the 'clean' lasts longer than a couple of years. If not, we may bite the bullet and replace with engineered wood. Our previous residence had wood and in the 5 years we lived there, it never needed this type of cleaning and always looked gorgeous!"
