Bay Area Carpet SteamersKen came by first to view the house, give a quote, discuss special needs (e.g., sensitivity to the cleaning solution and alternatives), and figure out how to hook up his truck to the water source and get the hose to our third-floor condo. He is a very nice, low-key guy with decades of experience. We scheduled the cleaning for later in the week. The only hangup on the day he arrived was that he needed to run to the store for a part to reach the water source. Once the job started, Ken and his crew were thorough, careful and excellent. Ken came by the following week to clean our windows and did a fine job. He treated our home with respect, which we appreciated. The pricing was fair and we would definitely call on him again.- Alan S.

COIT Cleaning and Restoration of San FranciscoI like to have my carpets cleaned once a year and for the last at least 6-7 years have only used COIT. Ok, I lie, I used Stanley Steamer once when I in a pinch and couldn't get a time slot in time for my event, but my preference is COIT. I live in the Bay Area....my luck, the first time COIT cleaned my carpets they sent Martin out and I've requested him only ever since! Martin is professional, courteous and efficient! I have a small space with carpet, maybe 600 feet. There's a standard base that you will need to pay no matter how small of an area (not sure if that dollar amount varies from location to location), I don't qualify for any discounts and yes, the price does keep going up but that's to be expected. And I'll pay for it since I don't think I can get the same result and I'm not willing to try. Martin is usually here for not even 30 minutes tops and always manages to arrive early. So be prepared! On another note, I can imagine that good workers might be hard to find in this industry. Let's be brutally honest, would you choose to be a carpet cleaner as your profession? Hopefully their managers are treating them well at the least. These people are lugging equipment, coming into your personal space and providing a service. A service that you don't want to do yourself. Be kind. They are only the messenger.- Nicole Q.

I couldn't be happier with the service that I got from RestoreX at every point in the process and highly recommend them! They were professional, honest, and cleaned up after themselves! We had a bad water leak under the kitchen floor, the connection on one of the pipes that had been replaced 5 years earlier had failed and the water from the kitchen sink, dishwasher and washing machine was all accumulating under the kitchen floor. I called RestoreX on a Wednesday at about 4:45pm, they asked for the approximate square footage of the area which I gave them and they gave me an estimate over the phone. They sent a service manager out first thing Thursday morning and he established the damage had gone all the way under the dining room floor. He said they'd be out first thing on Friday to do the work, which they did. On Thursday afternoon they sent me a quote that was within the range they had quoted me over the phone even though the area was larger. The work was completed in about two hours and there was no mess left even though they had to take out all the mud under the floor (the water had luckily dried up because we weren't using the appliances). They left a big fan on the outside of the house attached to the duct in the kitchen until the following Wednesday to dry it up and sealed all the vents around the house. The duct collapsed over the weekend, but when I called on Sunday, someone answered and said they'd be out in the morning to fix it, which they did. Fantastic service, thank you RestoreX!

My home has wall to wall carpeting everywhere but the kitchen and utility room. I have carpeting in my bathrooms too and they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Rod was efficient and worked hard to get all the dirt and grime out. I was amazed. Rod is a very personable individual and while it took a little longer than his estimate, he didn’t take long. Impressive work and reliable.
