"Company was responsive and clear about costs. Work was completed in timely manor; the work crew was very good and their crew leader made sure the actual paver construction was what I had envisioned. They even trimmed and rehung my side gate so the pavers fit underneath it. And, they even fixed an issue that the previous company had done whereas the brinks/sand was too close to the water pipes coming into the house.
Jeff made sure that the brinks used matched perfectly with the existing pavers we had. The crew was able to blend in the transition perfectly from the old patio into the new extension.

"I called target garage door and gate to get an estimate for a new door, i try to find few company that look ok to me target was one of them that catch my eye and after few estimate that i receive i choice to go with them.

"I will be recommending this company to all my neighbors. They were fast, honest, and high-quality. What is best is that, given the tough times we all are facing right now, they are willing to work with you on a price you feel comfortable with. I called them out to fix the broken torsion spring on my garage door. They lowered their price by nearly $100 to match the price of another company. Access Door & Gate's work came with a 5-year warranty which the other's did not. While fixing it, the technician noticed some other issues (broken hinges and rollers) with the door that I had noticed before and wanted to get fixed once I could more comfortably afford it. The technician quoted me a price that was ok, but more than I could afford. When I told him this, he worked with me on the price until we were at a price that was comfortable. In the end, a new double torsion spring setup, new hinges, and new rollers cost me $350. Since the original quote for the just the spring was $320, I thought this was pretty good. Also, they were very friendly and quick. I will absolutely use them again for any garage door needs."

"I purchased an $89 certificate for 3 hours of handyman services.  I had a list of eight items I wanted attended to, in priority order, to fit into the 3 hours. The work was to get our rental property ready for showing.

 It took the handyman two and a half hours to hang the screen door !  When he was finished, there was a one half inch gap at the top and another gap on the hinge side of the door.  I might as well not have had a screen door.  It looked fine from the outside, and I did not see the gaps until the handyman had left and I went inside the house and looked out.

Of my eight items, 4 were completed in the three hours -- two and a half hours to hang the screen door, one half hour or less to saw off an old gate post, remove about a foot of dead wire from the patio ceiling, and cover an old dead  wasp hole nest opening with an outdoor electrical wall plate.

In all fairness, when I called Action Services to report this, they were very responsive and sent the same handyman and an assistant to fix the problem.  Since the door frame had already been cut for the initial installation, it was not possible to rehang the door properly.  So the fix was to install narrow wood molding in the door frame to close the gaps. They did this satisfactorily, filled in the old hinge and latch holes with wood putty, caulked and painted the frame. There is still a very narrow gap, but I think it will keep out the insects.

I have only the highest praise for Maria in the office, who was very helpful in scheduling both the initial appointment and the follow-up call, so that we could have the house ready for rental.  Thank you, Maria.  And I praise the company for promptly fixing the inferior job that was done initially.

Even though the experience was ultimately satisfactory, I probably will not use this company again.  I would choose a company that is more local to me, as there was considerable delay (for my needs) in getting the initial appointment."

"Nice people, they claim to give a lifetime warranty including resealing seems or any problem at all. They showed up as scheduled, took a bit longer than expected. I was very happy with the way it looked when they were finished. Im still happy with the way it looks. After they left I noticed they had drilled a hole in my concrete walkway and pounded in rebar to mount a gate post but they didn’t plan it right and I believe they called the owner out who decided to put the post in a more suitable place. Unfortunately the cracked concrete with a flush cut piece off rusty rebar remains as an eyesore. After a month or two the gate post on the opposite side began pulling out of the stucco on the side of my garage. I took it apart to find they used cheep plastic anchors so i just went and replaced them with metal concrete anchors myself so its never coming out again. I figured despite the warranty id just get it done. Fast forward to present June 2019 and i noticed that 2 of the base plates of the fence are not fastened to the concrete on one end allowing them to swivel out of place when the neighbors gardener does yard work it pushes them out of place. I contacted Sonrise and was given a date two weeks away that they would show up but they could not give a time. Sounds stupid but fortunately I’m retired and can sit home all day waiting for them to show up because hey what else do i need to do right? never showed up. I emailed again and the Forman called and apologized said he’d be out the following Friday. Never called never showed up. I emailed again and its been a week and a half with no response. so much for that lifetime warranty. I am really happy with the way the fence looks but cutting corners on simple stuff has me a bit confused because when you say lifetime warranty to fix ANYTHING wrong. Well you’d expect no short cuts because then you’d have to come fix the problems ... Unless... you have no plans to fix anything at all. I don’t care to write a review like this but when you jerk a customer around then just ignore them what else is left to do?"
