"I brought in two handmade silk rugs to get cleaned. These are very valuable and I wanted to make sure they are treated with a lot of care. One had a very bad pet odor from urine and the other was pretty dirty from just foot trafficking, I took both of these rugs into LA rug cleaning and I spoke with Kash. He told me the steps they will take to clean my rug.
After a few moments talking to him I signed the paper and paid right then and there. The company seems really confident in what they do, I even saw them washing a few rugs and that made me feel a lot better.
I got my rugs back in about 2 weeks and they look fabulous! They look basically brand new, almost better than when i first bought them. The pet odor is completely gone and that surprised since i took it to another cleaner before and they couldn't get the smell out.
I have also tried their stain guard that they recommended and it works really well especially if you have pets.
If you have questions ask them cause I had a bunch and wanted to make sure I'm getting my money worth and I really felt like I did and they are so professional that i feel comfortable coming back and recommending them to others.

Antiques and Jewelry Appraisals questions, answered by experts

Yes, installing a tennis court can be a worthwhile home improvement project that adds value to your property. The potential increase in value can range from $20,000 to $150,000, and in some cases, the return on investment can cover more than 60% of the installation cost. However, the impact on value heavily depends on the size of your property. For homes with multiple acres, a tennis court is often a valuable amenity. In contrast, for homes on smaller lots, installing a court can decrease the property's value because it consumes a significant portion of the usable yard space. It's crucial to consider your property size and the remaining usable yard before proceeding.

Costs depend on the property size, audit complexity, and whether additional testing (e.g., blower door) is included.

Installing a flagpole can improve your home’s curb appeal, so it will often have a modest positive impact on your property value. You’ll see a much larger bump in property value if you install a custom wooden flagpole than you would if you install a standard aluminum pole. Adding lighting to your flagpole will also have a positive impact on home value, as will trimming trees away from the new lawn addition.

Foundation cracks won’t always affect your appraised value. All foundations crack due to normal settlement, so hairline cracks that aren’t leaking or uneven from side to side are unlikely to have an impact on your appraisal. Structural cracks, on the other hand, often lead to a reduced appraised value, especially if the underlying problem will cause the issue to worsen over time.

The differences between market value and appraised value depend on the local market, so they can match, or either one can be higher than the other. In a “seller’s market,” where there is an abundance of buyers, market value will likely sit higher than the appraised value because there’s more demand for the low inventory of homes. In a “buyer’s market,” where there are more homes than there are buyers, the market value is more likely to sit below the appraised value to entice buyers.
