"The service was excellent. They were prompt, professional, and resonable. I have no more problems with birds. In addition their pest control service is also good. When he sprayed for bugs he ensured that he moved furniture and anywhere there were spider webs he moved them. I was extremely pleased with the service probided."

"Personal service -- they explain everything. There's no rush to tent your home. They explore alternatives with you. Their two-year guarantee is great, because depending on the termite situation in your home, they offer to come out for a checkup every 3 or 6 months in that period. They made it clear they want to be absolutely sure they took care of the problem. Also, any later questions that arise are quickly answered via e-mail or a phone call. I would recommend West Coast Pest Solutions -- and already have -- without any reservations."

"I have used the pest control services from Premium Pest Management for the last two years after to moving to the area. Due to the area that I live in there were issues with rodents and insects. I was having to spray often for insects, and they were still able to enter my home. The rodents were causing issues around the house including damaging my patio furniture and causing wire damage. Joseph and the team came monthly and did an excellent job. After starting service with the company, I no longer had problems with pests in the house and they were greatly diminished around the house also. The Premium Pest team was always professional and friendly. I would highly recommend the services of this company for reliable and effective pest control."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Earwigs may look scary with their pincers, but they don’t pose a serious threat to humans or pets. They are not poisonous, do not sting, and rarely bite or pinch unless handled. While they are not known to transmit diseases, their presence can signal underlying moisture problems in your home, such as mold, water damage, or rotting wood. A large infestation can become a nuisance, and certain species may emit an unpleasant odor. Therefore, while earwigs themselves aren’t dangerous, a large number of them may indicate bigger issues that should be addressed by a pest control professional.

Carpenter bees do not make honey like honey bees, but they are still essential pollinators. In fact, they have a unique talent called "buzz pollination," in which they use the vibration from their wings to help release pollen from the flowers' anthers. Honey bees are also vital pollinators but do not use this process because they are too small and lack the strength required to buzz pollinate.

Drain flies aren’t likely to make you sick and typically aren’t harmful to humans. They don’t bite or sting; however, they can cause allergies. In some individuals, they can also trigger asthma. The main issue with these little bugs is that they’re annoying, unsightly, and unsanitary. Like all flies, they can spread bacteria from garbage or your sewer system.

There is no exact science here, due to the nature of nests and how mice raise their young, but a good place to start is to inspect the droppings. A single mouse poops a lot, leaving around 50 droppings in a single day, likely near a primary food source. If you find only sporadic droppings, you likely have a small infestation. If you spot large mounds of droppings, you are dealing with a big problem.

Fruit flies are more common during warm-weather months and may go away on their own in late fall once temperatures drop. However, they can survive year-round indoors as long as there's food available, so you'll likely want to take a proactive approach to get rid of them and stop the spread of bacteria.
