"Immediately I knew Jose’s Painting would be the company to not only bring my home back to life, but would protect it to SUSTAIN the impact of future elements, due to the proposal that was written with extensive care as to HOW they were going to get the house back into shape and WHAT they were going to use. My home has not been painted or stuccoed since the early 80's it needed TLC. This FAMILY OWNED company makes you feel like you are part of the family. Jose aka “Pops” had extensive details of how to make the project come together, while his son Jose had the modern perspective of how to keep the project in current times. The foremen, Elvis explained every detail whenever we had questions or requests. Allen, Gochi, and Ozzy showed up everyday with professionalism and care. The whole team is trustworthy and relatable. I will NOT use any other painting/stucco/interior/exterior specialist for any future project. The care and detail the team provided went above and beyond. WORTH every penny! This one is for the WIN!"

Small jobs welcome

"I was very pleased with the amount of time, and detail Carlos his son, helper and Dad did with refinishing our kitchen and laundry area cupboards. They were polite, always asking if I needed any touchups etc as they proceeded with the job. They were on time and finished the project when they said they would. I would recommend them, and next winter we are going to get a quote to paint the entire interior of our home."

Customers say: True professional

"Denis Rodriguez and his associate, Nathan, did an amazing job on my interior painting, ceilings, and outdoor gate. This company is first rate in customer service, quality of work, and price. A pleasure to work with. Had had a nightmarish experience with a company that pretended to be licensed contractors, and they ruined my home. Mr. Doctor Painting completely reversed this situation. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived. You are in very good hands working with this very honest and competent company. Underpromise -- overdeliver!"

"Winfield Painting is amazing! My husband and I purchased an older place, and our kitchen cabinets were old! They were the original cabinets from the early 80's ... and the wear and tear they experienced showed. We did not want to pay the full price of replacing all the cabinets, so we contacted Glen to get an estimate. Glen is amazing! He came out and looked over the kitchen and provided us with his professional opinion of what would be the best way to modernize the cabinets. After we decided on painting them, he provided us with an estimate and left paint samples for us to look over. We are THRILLED with the quality of his work! Glen worked around our schedule, met with us when we were available, and within a week from the first meeting, completed the cabinets. The quality of his work is amazing, and you can not beat his price!!!! I am so happy that we called Winfield Painting. I highly recommend Glen and plan on using him again when it is time to update cabinets throughout our place. Great work! Great price! Highly, highly recommended!"

"We had our entire interior painted. Ceiling, walls, trim & doors. Michael and his team were very prompt, great communication and thorough in their work. Also, very reasonable in their price for service."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

The best and fastest way to remove paint from a deck often involves combining a chemical stripper with a pressure washer. Gel-based paint strippers are highly recommended because their thick consistency makes them less messy and easier to apply than liquid strippers. After applying the stripper to loosen the paint, you can use a pressure washer to efficiently wash away the residue. When using a pressure washer for this task, it's important to use a low pressure (under 1000 PSI) to avoid forcing too much moisture into the wood, which could lead to mildew or rot.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.

Professionals may use a variety of methods to remove old paint from surfaces, often depending on the size and complexity of the surface. Paint scraping in combination with a chemical paint stripper is the most common method, but experts might also use heat or steam to loosen everything before peeling the paint off. Some might just sand off the old paint if the surface is relatively flat and easily accessible.

The easiest and fastest way to remove paint from a surface is to use a chemical paint stripper to loosen the paint and then remove the paint using a paint scraper. You can also speed up the process by making the area as accessible as possible, which could include removing window sashes or taking doors off the hinges.

Yes, you can technically use a pressure washer to remove paint from brick, but it comes with a significant risk of damaging the brick surface. A high-power pressure washer can be fast but may leave the brick looking unsightly. The recommended method is to first apply a chemical paint stripper, following the product's instructions, and then use a stiff metal bristle brush or a pressure washer on a low-pressure setting to remove the loosened paint. Due to the risk of damage, it is often best to hire a professional who can use low-stress methods.
