"When he showed up we made a list of about ten items we needed repair. Not only was he knowledgeable but very professional very friendly. Very efficient and his price was unbelievable. I have some more repairs to perform and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as an a 1 handyman. I also found out he is licensed and taking the exam for contractor. WHAT a find!!! Call him and after he is done. You will feel lucky that you found him. Juan. Weston Ranch 650-714-2592. Call me if you need more info. I’ll call him the Handyman of the yeaT Sorry. No dog walking. We had different dates. Different repairs. Excellent. All the way."

"Went well for a while and than they just stopped coming we got ghosted by them. They called off a few times for COVID and never showed back up they cleaning was ok but as time went on things would get missed like moping the bathroom floor around the toilet and he would use to much water o. Tile floors turning grout grey. My floors were not sealed so I fell that was bound to happen with a large amount of water used on floors. Wish they would have let us know they were quitting. That was unprofessional"

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.

The best way to clean vinyl floors is to vacuum or sweep away debris and then mop the floors using a mixture of warm water and dish soap or vinegar. You can also use store-bought cleaners if they’re marked safe for vinyl surfaces.

Clean your vinyl plank floors at least one to two times per week with a broom, vacuum, or microfiber mop. You can save the mopping and disinfecting for your deeper cleans about two to three times a month. Keep in mind that if you find sticky spots, spills, or stains, it's best to take care of them ASAP.

Before starting on a full refinishing project, determine if your floors need to be completely sanded down to the bare wood or if the damage is shallow and mostly cosmetic. Deep scratches and gouges will require you to rough sand using a drum sander or belt sander, but small surface scratches or floors that have only lost their luster don’t need a complete overhaul. Instead, you can skip the rough sanding step and sand-screen the old finish with a buffer, removing only the top layer of polyurethane.

Regular cleaning, avoiding harsh chemicals, and periodic resealing extend its lifespan.
