"I had a mixed experience with Douglas. The curtain rods were not hung straight. No tools were used such as a stud finder or measurement tool. The wall-affixed garden hose was drilled in the wrong place and a second hole needed to be made into the side of my home. Caulking was used to fill the hole but damage was done. I recommend getting an in-person estimate from Douglas for your repairs.

"Al and his assistant installed two window air conditioning units in windows that another installer said could not be done. The other installer from TaskR installed one of the units in a non-preferred window and left quite a mess, including crooked drill holes in my wooded sills. (My place is 105 years old, but my window sills have metal frames and modern windows.) Al and his assistant’s work was perfection! I was so pleased, I have already referred Al to 2 neighbors. Al is great at communication, very pleasant to work with, and honest. They cleaned up everything and offered to take the boxes and packing materials out to my bins. This was a relatively small job, but worth the money. Al charges a 2-hour minimum, which is more than fair. I will hire Al again and continuing recommending him and his team."
