"Our house had a 45 year old roof and it was finally time for a re-roof (we had never re-roofed til now). I noticed that my neighbor down the street just had his roof done this past summer so I asked him for a reference. I contacted Dave Brunn from Above It All Roofing. From beginning to end, Dave was a straight shooter. He gave me a reasonable quote, and amazingly enough, didn't have to put down a silly deposit like other roofing companies demanded. I would pay only when I was satisfied after the job was complete. Most importantly, his communication was EXCELLENT. I've never re-roofed before so he was also super patient to answer all my questions both good ones and stupid ones : ) The roofing crew lead by Joel were fantastic! They showed up on time every day, everyone worked hard and efficiently and they even cleaned up after each day so that my house looked decent after a hectic day. Everyone on Joel's team were super nice. He listened to all my requests and questions and made me feel like an important part of the process. After the house had been completed, I got so many compliments from neighbors - even from some of the super anal ones! My tiles were no longer broken and they all lined up super straight! My house actually looked newer. Most importantly, a few weeks afterwards, my wife noticed a few areas that needed to be cleaned up and tightened and Dave's followup was quick and efficient. His team showed up and they fixed any issues she requested with no drama. Re-roofing can be expensive and stressful (if you pick the wrong roofer). I was so happy with their work, I'm considering having them do 2 of our other properties."

"I have signed a contract with them; they told me a tentative date (when I spoke to Bill Jordan) for around the end of November, and I received a contract in the mail from them requesting a signature. They told me they have to have a contract before they can put us on the schedule, so we signed the contract and faxed it back to them and have found out that the date has been pushed back to the end of December. I signed the contract initially and sent the contract in and asked for an approximate date, and he initially told me they were scheduling us towards the end of November. We faxed our copy back in so we could be put on the schedule, and mailed a hard copy as well. I asked for a signed copy of the contract with a representative signature, but again it didn?t have the approximate dates on the contract and so we asked for it again and received another contract with some additional wording that had the approximate dates but said ?weather permitting?. Now I have a copy with the dates and additional wording that wasn?t on the contract we signed, and I would just like to get the work done closer to the dates Bill said, rather than December 28th. We?re worried about this because of a potential weather situation with El Nino, as we have an old roof and we?re both retired seniors. It?s a small house and a relatively small contract and we would like to have them work on getting us in there earlier, closer to the end of November or earlier if possible. We do understand that these are approximate dates, but the first date Bill mentioned is around the end of November and we would like to see it closer to then or even earlier if they can fit us in."
