When I first called him, he spent a considerable amount of time explaining about mold and his protocol in examining a site. After explaining that he uses the EPA guidelines in his recommendations for remediation, I knew I had the right man for my needs. He completely examined the affected area, took lab samples and sent me his very detailed preliminary report containing the treatment recommendations and a separate report with the lab results. Because this was for a rental unit with two small children within the family of occupants, I knew I had to be thorough and careful in my treatment approach. Ron guided the workman on what to do by phone, and then about an hour later came out to take a lab sample which ultimately came back clean. No mold was found behind the wall, by the way. All this on a football playoff Sunday! Ron is so awesomely superior in his service that he blows away the competition. He not only saved me thousands over a bid I had received from a mold remediation company for the job, but gave superlative support through the entire process. Before you spend thousands on a suspected mold remediation project, give Ron a call first. "My remediation was challenging because I live a couple states away from the house I own. I had received a quote from another company saying that my whole bathroom needed to be torn out. When AM/PM inspected, they suspected that the damage was not that widespread. Sure enough, when they did the demo, the mold had not spread widely into the walls. "Mold was found behind the walls in our master bathroom during demolition for a remodel. We contacted 3 companies for mold remediation estimates. Circle Vision wasn't the cheapest, but their review of the site and estimate was the most thorough, and they made us confident that they would do their best to reduce the amount of additional repairs that would be required after remediation was over. Carlos was the lead for our project and he did a great job explaining every step of the work and was very easy to get ahold of for scheduling. Gus Jr. and Gus Sr. conducted the remediation at our house for 2 days. They arrived on time each day, protected the floor with paper, vaccumed and swept at the end of each day, and left the house cleaner than when they left. They were very professional and answered any questions we had. They left an air scrubber at the house for a few days to make sure all traces of mold were gone. They left the dining room wall covered with plastic so our toddler and cats wouldn't get in to the unfinished bathroom. When the inspector returned, he found everything was done to the letter and we passed inspection with no problems.

"As noted by another reviewer on April 8, 2011, Unique failed to show up for an estimate when my wife had a last minute request to help at a charitable event.  I respect the desire to engage all potential decision makers; however, the estimator promised to call back and cancel the appointment if company policy prevented him from attending.  
The did not call back.  This left me and my architect waiting at the job site without any idea of whether the estimator would show and he didn't show up.  "

"The job was worse than Clover had originally thought but he stayed late and got most of it done, then came back and did a bit more another day. He also didn't try to change his estimate. He gave us tons of pictures which showed the work they did. Also, he recommended that we replace our air ducts in the crawl space because they had been damaged. We did that and the technician from the HVAC company said that All Star had done a great job under the house -- that it was "really clean". We would highly recommend this company to others with similar problems!"
