In October 2010, a hot water pipe behind the wetbar in our family room burst requiring more mold remediation and complete reconstruction. We called Frank immediately. Again he negotiated with the insurance company, and we were able to lay hardwood floors, install custom cabinetry, and re-construct a pub-style bar with granite and wood and a built in refrigerator, all within the insurance funds. We worked with the same designer, who selected window treatments, sofa cushions, throw rugs and accessories to complete the look of the room.

"This was a very interesting job, the Perlstein's called me in to repair two small areas that was recommended in an inspection report by a mold company however once I walked into the home I knew there were many problems, the floors were cupping in a had a musty smell at that point I decided to do an inspection of the crawlspace and discovered that the crawlspace was saturated with water rotting and mold contamination. I then did a full inspection of the house and discovered that there was a pinhole leak in the bathroom behind the toilet which is causing the problem that had been running for months and that's how this job began starting out with a couple thousand dollars of remediation work to over $130,000 worth of work. I work with the insurance company and was able to meet with the adjuster and he agreed with my findings and was able to cover it through a claim. The entire house was gutted included the kitchen the bathrooms all the hardwood floors and basically once we completed it was brand-new house, we also put in new vents for the exterior for the crawlspace to breathe properly and without injuring age where all the water from rainfall will drain towards the street.
