"Ken is very knowledgeable and professional. My backyard was not draining well in the last rain after a garage extension. He graded the soil and built a paving stone walkway. When I couldn't find anyone to put sods on the soil, he took on the job and did a great job. I am very happy with the work."

"They coated our roof with something like clear plastic. The product is called elastomeric. We are very happy with everything they did. We have already had them back to put in some downspouts. They also cleaned the gutters. I would use them again and recommend their service."

"I have used the Drain Co. several times. The work is always solid and reliable. They appear to have raised their prices though as last year it was $172 and this year $262 for 3 drains. The guy was here for roughly 2 hours. Last year it was 1.5 hours. I would have preferred knowing ahead of time the cost rather than being surprised by the bill, especially given that we are repeat customers and had an expectation that the cost would be equivalent to last year since our yard has not changed."

"I heard about SES from my friend. He did last year a kitchen remodeling project with them. I wanted to renovate 2 bathrooms, so I called them right away and got 4 more quotes. I felt more comfortable with SES and decided to do the project with them. The result came out greater than I imagined. Thank you guys"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

In Glendale, habits like overwatering near markers, planting large trees close to property lines, or installing patios and fences without verifying marker locations can disrupt survey accuracy. Using heavy landscaping equipment or neglecting hillside drainage may shift or damage markers. Failing to update surveys after city zoning changes or misplacing important documents can further reduce the long-term reliability of your property boundaries in Glendale.

Helpful?

In Glendale, create a seasonal land surveying routine by checking boundary markers every spring after heavy rains and potential mudslides, and again in summer when soil may shift from drought. Inspect in fall before wildfire season, especially near foothills, and monitor during winter for erosion or drainage changes. Scheduling a professional survey annually or after major weather events helps ensure your property boundaries remain accurate and protected year-round.

Helpful?

Surveying professionals in Glendale start by analyzing local records, historic maps, and subdivision layouts. On-site, they use GPS to locate existing markers and assess fences, walls, or natural features. Glendale’s varied terrain and history of seismic activity require careful measurement and adjustment. Surveyors also factor in local codes and recent land changes to ensure boundaries are precise, legally recognized, and suitable for future property improvements.

Helpful?

Signs that your Glendale land survey may need updating include missing or tilted markers after storms, visible ground movement, or erosion from seasonal flooding. If your survey is over a decade old, property lines don’t match neighboring lots, or zoning maps have changed, consider a new survey. Legal disputes, title insurance requests, or city planning requirements are also strong reasons to update your land survey.

Helpful?

Postponing land surveying in Glendale can result in property line disputes, accidental encroachment on neighboring lots, and violations of strict local setback regulations. Delays may also cause issues during home sales or renovations, especially if seismic activity or flooding has altered the land. The longer you wait, the more complex and costly it becomes to resolve boundary issues, particularly in Glendale’s active real estate market.
