"Courteous, professional, and honest. They are pricy, but you get what you pay for. They completely remolded our master bathroom and it looks amazing! My wife had a vision for her master bath and they nailed it. All new floors throughout the house and we couldn’t be happier with it. They did additional work at no extra cost. All American/legal labor. They were dedicated to meet every expectation of ours. They worked with us to save money by allowing us to do all the demo. They installed a new ceiling fan that wasn’t in the contract and plumbed a new vent line and vent to the roof! Totally not expected and we were not charged for it. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. 10/10 would hire them again, and will recommend them to anyone looking for the best quality contractors. They stayed true to the contract, no hidden fees, no overage. Perfect, couldn’t ask for a better experience for our first major hire for home improvements. Thank you to Rick and all the guys that worked on making our home beautiful."

"I had 2 ceiling fan/lights installed in the bedrooms. Installation included 2 new circular circuit boxes in each bedroom ceiling. In addition, I replaced the kitchen ceiling light with an LED fixture. The 2 workers were very polite and professional and worked quickly and efficiently, in addition to being respectful of my personal belongings."

Small jobs welcome

"Rick replaced my HVAC system. The process was seamless. We scheduled an appointment to inspect the existing system, and the available options were openly discussed. All of my questions were answered in a timely manner. There was no pressure to choose one system over another. In comparing his estimate to other companies, I found that I'd saved a lot of money. We discovered an incompatibility between the new equipment and the yet to be installed alarm system. Rick worked closely with the alarm company to make to marry the two systems. We gave the go ahead and the new system was installed in a day. The installation crew was polite and professional and so very careful to clean up afterwards. Thank you, Bragg Home Services. Yes, I recommend this company"

"I had a really good experience with RYDR Construction for my bathroom remodel. I worked mostly with the head contractor, Dangiras, and he was organized, easy to reach, and clear about what was happening each step of the way. He kept the project moving and made sure the work was done properly. The crew was respectful, kept the space as clean as possible, and paid attention to the small details. The bathroom turned out great and the process was much smoother than I expected. I would recommend RYDR Construction to anyone looking for a reliable contractor for a remodel."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Your bathroom exhaust fan shouldn't be loud. However, bath fans come in a wide variety of models, price points, and loudness characteristics, and yours may be louder or quieter than others you notice. Economy models tend to be the noisiest, with levels of 4.0 sones or more, which is about the sound of an electric shaver, while some high-end models can be barely audible.

A ceiling fan can become unbalanced for several reasons. Common causes include an accumulation of dust and dirt on the blades, which adds uneven weight. Over time, hardware like screws and fasteners can loosen due to wear on the blade holders. Other potential issues are damaged or bent blades or blade arms, worn-down parts, or an incorrect initial installation.

The average life span of a thermoelectric fan operating seasonally is two to three years. However, the life span of a wood stove fan depends on its quality, usage, and maintenance. Regular cleaning of the blades and ensuring the fan operates within its recommended temperature range can help prolong its life span.

Selection relies on matching fan size and power to attic volume and ensuring compatibility with home electrical systems and ventilation requirements.

While ceiling fans are built for regular use, running them continuously without breaks can lead to overheating and wear over time. If your fan has a thermal shutoff feature, it may stop running to protect the motor. To extend their lifespan, it’s best to turn fans off when they’re not needed.
