Also important for us, he managed the entire project and I was only pulled in from time to time on design questions. All of his employees were top-notch and showed up on time. The project took longer than expected, but that was due to the landscape design team and not Rick. Rick also installed two other pools in our neighborhood and they had positive experiences as well

    Update: I was not paid to give a review and I did utilize and hire Shefer Builders for a total remodel. Remodeling can be stressful. So many decisions and expenses. We thought about it several years. We researched, planned, saved and interviewed several companies. We wanted a general contractor that could handle all our needs (one stop). We met with Yani of Shefer Builder twice. We shared our budget, our wants, and our concerns. It’s important you find someone you feel comfortable with and can have confidence in. It’s your home after all. He made us feel excited about the possibilities and his portfolio was extensive. He had loads of ideas and thoughtful ways and places we could make our dreams come true. We’d lived in our 1950s home for 20 years. Everything needed updating. From the roof down to new flooring, new windows, doors, outside stucco, and a gorgeous new open floor plan kitchen (removed a wall) and bathroom! We couldn’t be happier now! The end result is amazing. It looks like something in a magazine. Yet very livable. Yani helped with choosing wall colors, tile, flooring and fixtures. They built a new master walk-in closet with custom organizers. Added crown molding and pocket lights throughout and durable pretty flooring. During the process Yani stayed in touch constantly and sent pictures of the progress. If we had a question he was very responsive in returning a call or text. He stayed within our budget and even found places to save us money. We joke if we win the lotto we’ll have Shefer Builder back to add a second story. We’d be happy to provide more info

    Steve and his pool team are on point. Steve has his pool installation process down and things flowed smoothly. He was quick to respond if questions arose and he followed up throughout the process to make sure things were going well. Side-note: I recommend choosing your tile and coping early in the process so it can be ordered and ready to go. Our coping wasn’t in stock (no fault of Steve’s) but waiting for it to come in put a hold on our project for a bit. We are very happy with the end result and our family is enjoying the new pool! Thanks Steve for a job well done

    They were excellent. They were always here on time in the morning. They came early in the morning and worked until late in the day. They met an artificial deadline that really required them to perform, and did they ever! They were excellent. We gave them a month to pull it all together. Although there were other contractors working and they were stumbling all over each other, Laguna has the biggest part. They took out all of the old plumbing and replaced it with new. They completed the job in about two weeks. I would recommend them to anyone who has this kind of work to do. Francisco, the person who represents Laguna Pools, would call to make sure everything was going OK. He was willing to listen to our concerns and do whatever we needed him to do. He was great. He actually became a good friend during the process because that is just how good a person he is

    From start to finish - EXCELLENT communication. I always knew who was coming and when, and what they were supposed to do. I didn't have to be home for anything. The project manager came out several times to check on the work, and if something was amiss, he made sure it got on the work order list and taken care of. The city caused most of the trouble; we had an inspector who clearly had personal issues - he took them out on me, but Burkett's did everything this guy came up with at absolutely no extra cost to me - just a substantial loss of time, but completely out of Burkett's control. They were there the minute inspections got signed off. There are still a couple of punch list items to take care of, but they got the last check and haven't forgotten me! I would use this company for anything I needed done that they can do

    I'm so happy that I decided to work with Mike Logan. I interviewed 3 other popular pool companies in the area but not one of them provided the immediate attention that Mike did. Actually the other 3 didn't get back to me until days after i left messages. Mike actually answered his phone! Additionally, although the bids were fairly similar (10K differential), the three components of customer service, products and process to make the pool were VASTLY different. Make sure you find out how long the crew has been working for the company and what the turn over is for sub contracting companies - very important! Pool builders often use many different sub companies for each stage of the process - so know who your dealing with before you sign the contract. Logan pools only uses truly the best people and products. Working with Mike was like dealing with a intelligent and trustworthy friend. He was incredibly professional from the first phone call, to the very end where we were sitting by the rock fire pit together bragging about my gorgeous pool! Mike was there - literally every step of the way. He personally supervises each job - meaning... he's at the project a lot! Our pool took about 8 weeks, pretty much right on target based on Mike's projections. The crux of my review - I would have paid a little more (but I didn't need to) to work with someone trustworthy like Mike who made the project affordable AND stress free. His amazing customer service allowed me to be a pleasant bystander or be involved as much as I wanted. He always welcomed my questions and was very patient in educating me through the whole process. Bottom line, Mike really IS as nice as he seems the very first meeting! This isn't a cheeky ploy to get your business. He is super happy go lucky, feels very blessed to be doing what he's doing combined with attentiveness, timelines and five star customer service. If you're looking for an honest company, gorgeous pool & hardscape that compliments YOUR yard and personal taste - Mike is your guy

They took house down to the studs, reinforced foundation, reconfigured layout and build additional 700sf . We had some initial plans when we met them, but Oren quickly pointed out we'd be doing a lot of work and still end up with a small kitchen. They suggested taking out a load bearing wall, which we never had considered, and the end product is amazing.
