"In August 2024, my husband and I decided to replace all of our interior furnishings. We originally started our project by working with the “designers” in the stores where we were making major purchases. It took us over 8 months to realize what a BIG MISTAKE that was. Long story short, we called Christian in April 2025. Christian came to our home and talked with us to understand the scope of the project. We wanted to redecorate the family, dining, and living rooms. Christian spent time getting to know us, asking us what we do for fun, and how we live our lives. He gleaned from us that we are adventurous travelers, with a love of the outdoors; he noticed my husband is into music and has a love of classic rock musician hard-cover biography books; he noticed that we both are somewhat minimalistic and that we prefer an orderly space. Christian’s tireless energy over the next 4 months produced recommendations for sofas, artwork, accessories, lighting, area rugs, coffee, end, and drink tables – you name it, Christian thought of it! We needed it all. His recommendations fit not only our lifestyle and our aesthetic preferences, but our personalities. Case in point, during our travels over the years, we’ve taken many photos of the places we’ve been. But these photos lived in our phones – where they weren’t being appreciated. Christian had the brilliant idea to showcase the photos on the wall in the dining room using MixTiles; he also suggested making two huge pieces of wall art for both our entryway and our living room. The result is nothing short of amazing. Christian also brought his crews in for electrical work and some painting. They were friendly, professional, speedy, and very clean. Christian was simply a joy to work with and he made our house not only beautiful, but comfortable, functional, and SO US! He was always available for a visit when a piece of furniture arrived, was always honest with his opinion, and always included my husband. Christian turned what was originally a very frustrating project into a wonderful experience and we are thrilled with the end result. We can’t say enough about Christian’s work and we are proud to call him friend. "Dave was great! The best communication and transparency I've seen in a long time. Dave explained what he needed to do to install the dryer vent and got right to work...NO wasted time. He installed the vent and made sure it was working properly. The vent looks great! Dave is knowledgable, professional, and a nice person. He also stayed in touch, letting me know how soon he would arrive and when he was on his way. I really appreciated that. We will definitely call him the next time we need a handyman."

"I highly recommend Contractor Adrian Lamb owner of Affordable Builders. I needed to find a contractor who could replace a mid-century bathtub/shower with a walk-in shower for my elderly parents and I needed the job completed as soon as possible. I contacted Adrian who graciously agreed to provide a quote on a Saturday morning. He was very professional and patient with our ideas and questions. He explained all options for our project and provided a quote including project scope later that same day. He also provided several different places to select the specific tile that my parents were looking for. The tile was selected. I notified Adrian who agreed to travel to two different locations to pick up the materials. The project started on the following Thursday as agreed at contract signing. Adrian was in constant communication responding to additional questions and providing updates. Project was completed in one week which is exactly what was promised. The shower is absolutely amazing and my parents are very happy with the workmanship of the finished project. Affordable builders worked in a very organized fashion, keeping materials, tools and all areas clean and safe throughout the project. My father asked that additional painting be done and Adrian obliged without hesitation. Overall, I highly recommend Affordable Builders for any bathroom remodeling needs.
