"He arrived on time was very pleasant completed the job and explained everything in detail. I would recommend him if you ever need repair or replacement of sliding glass doors. Great service!"

"Good News is the best! They take time to really measure properly and suggest the best windows for the space. We are extremely happy with their work and love the new windows and patio sliding door w/screen, which are much better and quieter than the 19-year-old ones Beazer installed. Highly recommend. Great, friendly, on-time service. Great price with Angie's List member offer too."

"(1) Scheduling was difficult. I was told materials would be ordered within 3 days (it was 1-1/2 weeks), I was told work could begin with 2 weeks (it was 3 weeks) and I was told work would take 3 days (it was 5 days). This made it difficult to schedule other renovation contractors. (2) [Person in office] did not want me to call her on the phone and told me to communicate via email only, which slowed communication. (3) There are 2 areas with minor rippling in the laminate. It's not too noticeable, but prevents me from recommending them to a friend because it is sub-par work. (4) Worker left paint splatters all over my refrigerator, sliding glass doors, bathroom sink, and bathroom floor. Other that all of the above, my experience was good/average. Kind of a high price for the quality of work. Not good enough to recommend to a friend, but acceptable."

"Dabella did windows and a shower in my home. Their salesperson Heather Hanson is very good at explaining the process and helpful afterwards with any help i needed. I'm very happy with the quality of the product and the craftsmanship on the installation."

"At the end the job came out great!! Just great teams work!! All lead the right direction as need. I recommend to anybody that’s looking for a great turnout Thank you!!"

"I completely remodeled our kitchen in February 2009 which included replacing all the drawer boxes and cabinet doors, re-facing cabinets with laminate wood and installing a new cooktop hood w/exhaust ducting.  After only four years of use, I noticed numerous deficiencies with the workmanship done by the original carpenter/cabinet maker.   Unfortunately, that owner and his business went bankrupt and is no longer in business.  In 2009, Angie's List didn't have very many reviews for cabin makers.  In June 2009, I again looked for a cabinet maker to tear out our tract home entertainment center and install a new, updated one.  While having crown moulding installed by an Angie's Super Service Award winning contractor, I asked if he would recommend a qualified cabinet maker.  That's when I was introduced to Arno Verberne at Amsterdam Woodworks.  I've previously written a review for Angie's List that work which can summed up as being beyond my expectations.

Fast forward to the repair of several kitchen cabinet repairs accomplished by Amsterdam Woodworks.  Arno's reputation and success is evident by reviews from many Angie's List subscribers.  I emailed Arno with my list of repairs and he quickly responded and set up an appointment to provide me an estimate.  I usually abide by Angie's recommendation to get three estimates.  However, having worked with Arno two previous times (entertainment center and two bathroom remodels) I knew that I was hiring the best cabinet maker who would provide me the greatest value and unsurpassed customer service!  Arno and his equally capable cabinet maker, Alejandro completed everything with exceptional attention to detail, accomplished it in one afternoon and I their work exceeded my expectations!  Whenever I need any cabinet work done, I don't need to look any further than Amsterdam Woodworks!

"Mark Drennan came over to give me an estimate ... I had another guy coming a few days later.  The difference was astonishing.  Mark went over all the details of the products that I was interested in, he was polite, not pushy and left me with a proper estimate in writing.  The other guy came ... was sort of distracted like he was being put out, left saying he would call and made sure he had my email address.  I finally called him a couple days later and instead of emailing me a proper estimate, he texted me a bunch of gibberish.  When I asked for an estimate he begrudgingly said oh ok, I will copy it to an email which is all he did.  It was ridiculous to think I would hire him based off of that.

I called Mark back, he returned and we went over my choices again. He helped me decide which I really appreciated. I ordered Hunter Douglas products as he knew I wanted quality and he assured me I would be happy with that brand.  He was very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable taking his recommendations.  Everything turned out perfect except the sliding glass door.

The trim was black which I did not expect, and when I called Mark he also had not expected black.  He worked with H.D. and got them to re-do them (no charge, in white which was what I had wanted.   Every window came out perfectly.

The installation was amazingly efficient.  The guys were prompt, neat and fast.  They completed every window in record time and there  was no mess, no trash left around inside or out.   All the windows look great and operate perfectly.  I couldn't be happier with the service I received from the Blind Guy, especially Mark, the installers and of course Hunter Douglas.

"My wife and i were so pleased with Hall's a couple years ago that we hired them to install 3 more exterior doors at our home today. Their installer, David Pitsker, a true craftsman, arrived on time and began by reviewing the work order with us and then setting up a barrier of plastic to keep our home's interior free of dust and debris. He worked diligently throughout the day to complete the job. Again, the finished project exceeded our expectations. Hall's is a highly reputed company thanks to the very talented and experienced installers like David that they employ. In short, today we received another 5-star performance by Hall's Windows and Doors."
