Milholland designed a system that is inappropriate and incompatible with our traditional New Mexico flat roof. Their system used anchors that penetrated the roof, destroyed the roof integrity requiring a $30,000 re-roof, caused multiple internal leaks for 2+ weeks and damaged an internal plaster wall. A Milholland roofing subcontractor inspected and approved the roof prior to solar system installation; the roof did not leak prior to the installation. An independent roofing/solar contractor has confirmed the Milholland design flaw is responsible. Milholland has not responded once to dozens of emails and phone calls. A solar panel retro-fit, re-roofing and plaster wall repair is needed.

The company was very professional, maintained good communication during the whole process, and completed the project on time. Even under a tremendous time crunch, I was able to achieve my goal of activating the system before December 31st to maximize the Federal Rebate. Since installation, I've had a few minor problems with the system monitoring functions. Customer service and repair technicians were prompt and they got taken care of immediately. Other than that, I LOVE MY SOLAR SYSTEM. I'm saving money every month but more importantly, I can run my AC whenever I want instead of sitting in a 90 degree east-county house afraid to turn the AC on. In October 2014 I installed 29 LG Solar Panels with micro inverters. A few of my panels were on tilts as the main section of my roof only held about 20 panels. I chose Milholland over five other companies that I got quotes from. I was referred to them by another customer and I have since referred them to friends.

Looked into a roof replacement and solar. Researched several companies and interviewed Milholland based on a recommendation from a friend. Right away their company reps treated me with great customer service and did not try any forced sales tactics. Their quotes were even very competitive compared to the other companies I interviewed. I felt very comfortable with Milholland from day one. I even had a few questions on the contract language and they were amenable to make a few pen and ink changes to the contract. We decided to go w/ the SunPower panels with micro inverters. In the end they completed both the roof and solar project with outstanding customer service and kept me informed throughout the project. All their workers were very professional and courteous. Special shout out to Arturo Cuevas for the roof project and to River Brown and Brandon Pasborg for the great support on the solar project. They were all very responsive to my numerous concerns and questions.

I highly recommend Milholland Electric for solar power installation. They installed 32 panels on my Scripps Ranch home summer of 2015, and I have been reaping the benefits of no cost electric ever since then. The reason I hired them instead of the competition is because quite simply they provide old school service at the best value (their quote was LOWEER than the other 3 reputable vendors for same equipment). I received the LG techno9logy I was looking for with sensors, and guarantees on the service and product. The sales process was low pressure and the team that showed up was on time and cordial. Every promise that they made, they kept - and each person in the service model was positive and responsive. SUPER IMPRESSEED!!
