"When we moved into our new house a year ago, one of the small bedrooms became my office. It had three bookcases, a large desk, a file cabinet and a bench. It also had 35 boxes from the moveâ mostly papers and craft supplies, some books and pictures and a couple of boxes of knick-knacks. Did I say it was a very small bedroom? It was stuffed. She also put the recyclables in the bin and took away the items to donate. The following Sunday, we tackled the file cabinet and papers. This was the most difficult part for me, and Lori helped me to decide what to purge and what to keep. At the end of around 8 hours, another bookshelf was gone, too. She rearranged the room to be much more peaceful. I still have some of the magazine holders and a couple of boxes to sort and purge, but now thereâ s a place for what I want to keep. Current files are easily accessible in the file cabinet. The desk is clear, and everything else has a home. Itâ s amazing timing. The next week, my company required us to work from home because of the coronavirus. Without the transformation, it would have been additional stress working in the clutter. Instead, thanks to Lori, I can be productive and even enjoy working in my new office."
