Small jobs welcome
"I hired Mike to help me get my new house ready for entertaining before I moved in. He was able to mount my TV very fast and efficiently with no problem at all. He also took time to inspect preexisting speaker wires that ran throughout the house and took his time to identify exactly which wire went to what speaker and what room and label them accordingly. Mike has a great attention for detail and was able to get me fully set up and also explain everything to me an a way that made sense. He was extremely professional and I would definitely hire him again if I need any more AV or low voltage work done in my house."

"James executed two jobs during his time. First, his team demounted an existing TV(55') in the living room, then mounted that TV in the master bedroom (above the fireplace). He would also hook up the TV cables(DirecTV) to the master bedroom for a pristine picture, while showing no wires. Secondly, we asked him to mount a new TV(70') in the living room and set up the new stereo system as well. Not to mention he did this again without showing any wires. One thing I personally enjoyed about James was that BEFORE he did anything he ran us through the pricing. Also, throughout his work he would mention certain ways in which we could save money. For example, he asked if we wanted the TV set up as 4K resolution or 1080P. He mentioned that if we chose 4K resolution it would be better picture quality but it will cost more. This process saved us a quick buck. James and his team were very professional, accommodating, and punctual. He knew what we needed done and performed. I will definitely be calling James if I need anything done around the house. Thanks"

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
If your TV antenna is good quality and was installed by a professional, you can expect it to last between 10 and 20 years without needing repair or replacement. This can vary based on your geographic location, weather conditions, and antenna location.
The cost to repair your TV antenna is around $200 for the average homeowner. However, charges could be as low as $60 or as high as $450. Factors such as multidirectional or unidirectional, indoor or outdoor, and amplified or non-amplified all play an essential role in determining the cost of your repair. For example, outdoor antennas cost more on average to repair than indoor ones, much like amplified antennas cost more to repair than unamplified ones.
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
Before your TV antenna stops working, there are a few ways to tell it’s starting to break. Some common signs that your antenna needs repair include:
A repetitive “no signal” issue
A redundant “searching” issue
Increased signal issues during a cloudy or rainy day
A sudden drop in signal strength, regardless of the weather
If you’re experiencing these problems, you’ll want to ensure that your cables are still in good shape and have not deteriorated. In addition, check to make sure that your cables are firmly in place at the wall outlet. Finally, check the position of your antenna to ensure there are no obstructions in its path. If you’ve checked your antenna thoroughly and are still having these problems, a repair is most likely needed by an antenna technician.
