"I had a mixed experience with Douglas. The curtain rods were not hung straight. No tools were used such as a stud finder or measurement tool. The wall-affixed garden hose was drilled in the wrong place and a second hole needed to be made into the side of my home. Caulking was used to fill the hole but damage was done. I recommend getting an in-person estimate from Douglas for your repairs. Fee $400 covered book shelf reinforcement, hang 4 curtain rods, hang 3 large frames, affix 2 retractable garden hoses to sides of home."

"The company responded immediately after I purchased the Angie's List deal and scheduled the appointment.   Two electricians showed up on time with all the necessary materials, and within 4 hours they had the old fixture out and the new in.  They completely closed off the kitchen with plastic so there was no dust or debris.  They cleaned up after themselves and removed all the parts of the old fixture and the packaging of the new.  The edges and calking on the recessed corners and ceiling are perfectly smooth and finished.  These men, Peter and Jake,  did craftsman quality work.  The new ceiling is gorgeous and the light is brighter than my old fixture, which is excellent for work in the kitchen.  I smile every time I look at it; I could not be happier.
