"I had a mixed experience with Douglas. The curtain rods were not hung straight. No tools were used such as a stud finder or measurement tool. The wall-affixed garden hose was drilled in the wrong place and a second hole needed to be made into the side of my home. Caulking was used to fill the hole but damage was done. I recommend getting an in-person estimate from Douglas for your repairs. Fee $400 covered book shelf reinforcement, hang 4 curtain rods, hang 3 large frames, affix 2 retractable garden hoses to sides of home."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. "Joe Kincaid is a great contractor.  I first met Joe back in Fall of 2014 when I was looking at contractors to do a remodel of a home that I had just purchased.  The home was built in 1959 and many parts of it were original.  I wanted to upgrade the electrical box and grounding as well as replace a few of the lights.  There were a some other items I was pricing out with him, such as a small roof repair and a small bathroom remodel.  

It was on a Sunday morning, when Joe called me around 8:00 AM that my simple remodel changed completely.  We were about a week into the project.  Fortunately, Joe stopped by the house that morning early to check up on the work progress.  When he arrived, he found that my cold water line had burst under the house overnight.  The entire house was under several inches of water.  Joe was instrumental in helping me get the repairs started by first contacting a flood/mold remediation company to dry out the house.  

In the end, I had to do a complete home remodel.  Every room was affected.  Including what we were originally planning on renovating, Joe replaced the flooring (tile and wood laminate), baseboards, drywall, painting, electrical plugs, breaker box, roofing repairs, new shower tiling in the master and new shower/tub in the 2nd bathroom, new vanities in both bathrooms, new cabinets and counters in the kitchen and much more.  Joe got the work done on time and on budget.  If I could change anything, I would have used Joe for the copper re-pipe I had to do inside the house after the flood.  Even then, Joe noticed and helped take care of issues that the plumber left unfinished.  Joe became my eyes and ears during the project.  His communication was great!

Earlier this year, I had another water line problem at the house.  This time the water main line was leaking underground between the street and my house.  My first call was to Joe.  He stopped by that day and called me with his recommendations.  We decided to replace an area of the copper pipe that was leaking.  Hopefully this will be the solution as the rest of the pipe looked OK.  It was certainly a lot less expensive than replacing the whole line. Joe was thorough and did a great job both times I have used him.  I like how he is willing to give options to meet my budget and best of all, I trust what he says."
