"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "After getting bids from several other companies, I went with Independent Energy Solutions because they were by far the most professional company. Chris took the time to educate me on solar energy as well as to provide the most sensible design to give me the greatest amount of solar energy production for the available space and layout of my roof. Joseph, the crew foreman, was a delight to work with, and he was very responsive when problems came up. They thought of all the little details to make the installation aesthetically pleasing, like running the cable down along the back of the rain spout to hide it from view and painting it to match the stucco so that it virtually disappeared. Throughout the entire installation process, they went the extra mile, and they treated me as if I were a VIP.
Were there problems during the installation? Yes. The City Building Department lost my application, and then both their inspector and the inspector from SDG&E were annoyingly nitpicky. But IES handled all these problems with grace and elan.
Having my own solar panel system has caused me to look around the neighborhood to see what other solar installation contractors have done and there's all the difference in the world between what they've got and what I've got. I WILL NOW BE HIRING A LAWYER TO SUE THEM FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT...WEB SITES FOR REVIEWS WAY DIFFERENT ON SOME OTHER SITES.......I PLAN ON CONTACTING THE NEWS ALSO ABOUT VERENGO AND THE SCAM THEY ARE TRYING TO PULL ON ME.....TO GET OUT OF THEIR CONTRACT............................................"
