"Wiring was done, but not like we wanted to. Wiring was placed on a different wall than we asked and installer said he was limited in what he could do. We had a satellite wire split, but it didn't work. Everything now works once the same installer came out a second time, an hour later than the time given. Based on the company's staff that I spoke to on the phone, it appears the installer didn't get paid for the 2nd response because some of the work didn't function so the installer probably only gets paid by the job."

During the course of the conversation the woman I spoke with (Bernadette) assumed that I wasn't the decision maker and would need "the husband or perhaps the parents" present to sign a contract. How SEXIST and insulting! I set aside the slight (shouldn't have), but when she told me that they would charge $69 for an estimate that was the last straw.. I'll pass, thank you very much."

"My second appointment with Geek Choice in March went well. The phone call from the office to determine what I wanted to accomplish at the visit is a great idea. I would say that here is where Geek Choice can look for complications. For example, someone who's used a computer at work and at home may still be unaware of some basic ideas. For example, if a device is to be added, does it need to be charged, does the person have the correct cable or battery, etc. Young people know this; older people do not necessarily.
The representative was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and offered additional tips. He arrived within the time frame specified.
