Small jobs welcome

"Fabulous handyman service! Arsen was very professional and super helpful. He installed appliances for my elderly mom, was super respectful and went above and beyond helping her and fixing little extras. His price for the work was very appropriate, he called when he said he would and was very punctual. We will definitely hire him again!! Great to know that we now can call a very dependable and professional handyman."

"We did a whole kitchen remodel. David was very knowledgeable and recommended a wall removal which completely changed the look of our kitchen and opened it up. Everyone that worked on the kitchen was very professional and they stuck to their schedule. They were pretty quick getting us back in our kitchen and it turned our beautiful. I absolutely love my kitchen and I am so happy I chose CA Cabinets."

"Brian is a great guy to work with. He is professional and very reliable always coming on time and calling if going to be delayed. He does very good work. He shaved the bi-folding doors we ordered to fit and stained them and painted the glass panels. He also refinished a table for us. Both jobs came out terrific could not be more pleased. He is reasonable in his price. He is 40 years in this business so he does many things and does them well. I will continue to use his professional work when needed."

"Anthony from Bokai Construction called back promptly, came over to our house 2 days later on time, and efficiently repaired a variety of plumbing and electrical issues, indoors and outdoors. He was pleasant to deal with and had good suggestions for additional work around the house that I asked him about."

Customers say: True professional

"Leo was very helpful and quick to respond. We’re happy with how our 2 bathrooms turned out. Project was completed within the time promised. Our only complaint is that the workers did not clean up very well. But overall, we’re satisfied and we’ll use them again."

"In spite of a break because he tested positive for covid, the Handy Juan completed the rebuilding and installation of my kitchen cabinets in a reasonable period of time. He accomplished exactly what I desired to be repaired. He communicated pleasantly and effectively. He left the area clean and in good order. I would gladly have him back for future projects."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

The primary disadvantage of a ventless fireplace is that it doesn’t have an exterior venting system. This means that the byproducts from combustion are emitted into your home, which raises some safety concerns. In addition, ventless gas fireplaces produce moisture as they burn—and if there’s no ventilation, you could end up with a mold problem.

There aren’t many problems with fire doors except that they slow down or cut off ventilation at the higher rating levels. For this reason, work with a professional to ensure you have adequate ventilation throughout your house or workspace. The sealing around a fire door is meant to allow for a specific amount of ventilation and will need regular inspections to ensure adequate airflow.

Recessed lights, as with any kind of light, can be a fire hazard if not installed correctly. Because of this, it’s best to have a professional complete the installation for you. Properly installed lights should not pose a threat and often have heat sensors installed in them that turn the light off if the temperature gets too high.

The most common causes of kitchen fires are leaving cooking food unattended, frying food with excessive amounts of oil, and leaving flammable objects near the stovetop.

There are several maintenance tips you should take to ensure your pellet stove's safety and proper maintenance. You should vacuum the ash pan every week to prevent overflowing and clean the stove and surrounding vents every three to four months. It’s also important to get a professional inspection every year and install a carbon monoxide detector close to your stove. Be sure to dispose of hot ashes in a closed metal container; store it outside, away from the house. Only use the pellets recommended by your stove's manufacturer, and follow any cleaning and maintenance instructions.
