"Contacted the vendor through the listing.  Had a time constraint and needed to get the worked done by the end of the year.  Vendor was extremely flexible and worked with me to get the installation scheduled to meet my needs.  Vendor even had a special on labor which they happily allowed me to use.  Electrician arrived on time and seemed professional but also seemed a bit new.  We discussed how I wanted the new wires run through the garage and judging from his responses I thought he understood what I wanted.  I left him to his work and went back into the house to take care of some things.  When I checked on him about an hour later he had run the wires across the bottom of the rafters rather than the path I had discussed.  As nicely as I could I explained that this was not what I wanted and he began to explain that he didn't have enough wire at that point to change the path and didn't seem to see what the problem was.  I explained that I could have done the quality of installation he did and that was why I hired an electrician to do it right.  At that point I started to get some attitude and decided I would let him complete the job and call the office after he left to share my concerns.  I talked with the office and they agreed to send him out again to correct the issue.  The same electrician came out a few days later to correct the problem.  Same guy, same lack of understanding, same quality of work.  .  He made some minor modifications but it was not the installation I wanted or expected from this highly rated vendor.  At this point I had other more pressing issues to attend to and just gave up.
Here is the thing.  I understand that this was a rush job.  I understand the vendor was doing his best to accommodate my needs.  for these things I applaud them.  What they didn't do is provide the quality they where known for and failed to listen to what I wanted even after explaining several time to the electrician doing the work and the office.  In this situation it's all about me.  If what I want is not what we discussed or what you quoted, tell me and let's discuss revised pricing.  Unless there is a good reason not to,  do what I want, the way I want it.  It's that simple.

He encountered difficulties with the pipes at first and was eventually able to remove the blockage. "First, Flood Doctor is the most professional and accomplished company I have ever dealt with in my 68 years. Starting with the owner Nathan Suazo, Jack his lead assistant, and then down to all his other workers, there is an extremely obvious desire for their work to be the best and completely satisfy the customer. I have never seen such passion to do outstanding work!! For example, his painter painted a room and it looked fine to us. Mr. Suazo came by and made the painter return to get the room perfect. They are so trustworthy that we allowed them to put the house on a lock box and have free run of the house when we were away for several days. I can tell you that I am extremely paranoid about those things and basically trust virtually no one outside of my family. Their work was timely and Mr. Suazo went out of his way to help so many times that I lost count. Several examples are: coming to the house when the insurance adjuster came out to ensure that the adjuster gave us fair and complete compensation for all repairs; installing new door handles and lighting plates at no charge for labor when he noticed they were old or tarnished; bringing tile samples to us several times and then going to a show room to help us select new tile; and many other extra efforts too numerous to list. Bottom line: I give this company the highest recommendation possible"

"The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

"I called and left a message. I did not receive a response so after a week I called again and John answered. He recognized my name/request and said he was sick the previous week which was why he didn't return my call. He came to our home and I showed him the work to be done. He said we couldn't replace the sink without ruining the granite countertop so that project was scrapped. For the electrical and ceiling fan work, he said he was busy for the next two weeks and recommended we use Kevin at Shea Electric who he would pass our number on to. (I kind of got the impression he didn't want to do the work.) Kevin made an appointment to come out but after calling once to say he would be late, never showed up or called back (that was 4 days ago). I will enter the Shea Electric review under that company."
