"Great locally owned company, stands behind their work and great communication. The hardest part of electrical workers is getting one that will communicate well. These guys are it. I had a previous electrician who messed up some work, Gold Coast had enough integrity to ask me after the job if it was caused by them. It was not but they were ready to come in and do us right. I am going to hire them to fix the bad electrical work that was done by previous contractor."

Most incandescent Christmas light bulbs are designed to last between 1,000 and 1,500 hours—or about one to three holiday seasons. More durable LED bulbs should last about 10 times as long. 

It’s not a good idea to mix LED and incandescent Christmas lights if you can avoid it. LEDs and incandescents can have significantly different electrical current needs. This difference can lead to a higher risk of problems and failure for both light strands. When possible, switch all your lights over to one kind or the other for the best results. Do not connect the different types of light strings to each other, and avoid linking them to the same circuit. 

Ensure you have a safe environment for them to work on, and there aren’t items such as logs, build-up of yard materials, missing or damaged shingles, and weak areas on the roof. Communicate any known electrical issues with contractors at the beginning of the project, and consider hiring an electrician to fix those.
