"Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. A friend of mine referred me to Mega Sun and I have to say I am very pleased. "Work that is done without any issues are easy reviews to write. However in this case we ran into a major issue where the stain used on the garage doors did not match the existing front door as was a requirement. (Not even close). We addressed the issue with Rick and he agreed there was a problem. He sanded the doors, completely removing the stain and started over with the correct stain.
As stated before,projects that go off without a hitch are easy reviews, but when you do run into a problem, how that service provider addresses the issue speaks well of their overall commitment to their profession. Rick handled the issue well and did whatever it took to make us happy. This could have been catastrophic but in the end we love our new garage doors."

"They did a very good job. The house looks beautiful. They even performed all of the work in 1 day! A couple of things to keep in mind when using this provider. The deals they offer on Angie's List are excellent. However, there are extra costs that can add up, such as painting a detached garage even if the total square footage is under the allowance of the deal. I got a very fair price for everything, but that is important to keep in mind when considering whether to purchase a deal. Second, they are a mom and pop operation and it can be a challenge sometimes to get a hold of them or stick on schedule. It can be difficult to get them on the line on occasion. I've used them 3 times, and the work has been rescheduled at least once each time. Make sure you have some flexibility when considering whether to purchase a deal through them. They do excellent work when they get out there!"

"It was great honestly. They came out, took a look at the problem, found the problem and promplty fixed it. The plumbing was drastic, and they worked on it really hard. My wife is loving her new kitchen, and I am loving that I had to put in minimal effort. The base boards and the tile look great, Im not even getting into the kitchen cabinets- those are just amazing. Not sure what company they used for their cabinets, but great quality stuff. A+, will do work with them again."
"The gentleman who came to do the work (Rudy) was friendly and punctual, but just didn't seem very detail-oriented or professional, and he didn't come to the job very prepared. He came to install a skylight tube. He went up into our attic and started working - and he cut a hole in our ceiling down from the attic without *measuring the dimensions* first. After punching a big hole in the ceiling he realized he couldn't put the skylight tube there because there were framing members in the attic that restricted his access, and the skylight tube wouldn't fit but he'd already made a big hole there. So then he asked to borrow our tape measure because he hadn't brought his with him (?!?). After trying for quite some time to shave away the beams in the attic and make the skylight tube fit, he gave up and cut away the attic beams. Finally he could have room for the skylight tube. Except then he had to brace the beams in the attic to reinforce the area he'd cut away. But he didn't have any materials in his truck that would work. So again he asked if we had anything in the house he could use. We scrounged around down in our garage and found some pressure-treated 2-by-4's that he cut & nailed & used to brace the beam cutout in the attic. By his own admission they were the wrong size and the wrong material, but that's what he used. When he was finished with the skylight tube installation, the area of the ceiling around the tube opening was cracked, smudged, gouged, and all-around pretty ugly. We had no choice but to leave it that way until next time we repaint the ceiling, so it still looks bad even today. He also installed a solar attic fan, and he gave us a discount after all the adventures with the skylight tube. A discount was nice, but I wouldn't hire him again. Now I'm considering bringing in another contractor to repair the damage he did in the attic. "
