One was to do a cursory inspection and offer what is essentially an insurance policy. Another did a better inspection and offered spot treatment and a 3 year warranty. Pacific Coast did a thorough inspection and offered either spot treatments to the obviously infested areas or comprehensive preventative maintenance treatment in addition to the spot treatments. The cost is more expensive than the other companies but the employees inspire confidence in their work."

It turns out that there were a few termites in exterior the trim boards and siding, but none under the house.  The other company wanted $7,000 to tent the house and garage.  Hi Tech said no tenting was needed, and quoted a price less than one quarter of that amount.
