Immediately upon meeting Ben I knew I wanted to work with him - he clearly has the intelligence, experience, and taste I was looking for, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Surprises arise during construction, but Ben was always direct and communicative. When a problem arose, he explained the situation, offered multiple solutions and the costs/tradeoffs of each, and we agreed together on the best course of action. The craftsmanship is wonderful, and even after the house was finished, he remained available for questions. "Pete Pena is a true craftsman and excellent designer. We had a custom TV cabinet made to enclose our 60" TV. It included shelves and storage drawers, along with glass display shelves. In addition, we had built a fireplace mantle and enclosed the fireplace to look like one complete piece, with a ceiling high bookshelf at the end. This was a complicated project, involving an entire wall in our family room. We were impressed with Pete's skills and workmanship. We worked together on the design details by computer and we're able to see exactly what it would look like. His price was excellent for all of this work. Pete was very responsible about his time and communication with us. We are so happy with the results and glad we chose Pete for this project."
