He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "Everything works perfectly now. I can't complain. Their experience really showed in the very swift manner in which they repaired the underground plastic pipes. They also gave me very explicit instructions as to what to do after they had repaired them. They told me not to walk on the ground for a day or two, and not to turn it on for at least 18-24 hours to let the cement set. It is supposed to set very quickly but nevertheless, they said why take chances, and I think that is experience talking. Everything was put back together in a more than acceptable manner. They are also working on a plan for our front yard and I haven’t seen that yet. They are very busy and I am very patient. They were most cooperative. When I asked a question, the older of the two guys gave me an answer, and he told me why it was the answer. He did it very quickly in good, clear English. It was most appreciated. I have used the sprinkler system, and it works. The first time, they called a few hours before they were to be there and said that the job that they were on turned out to be larger than anticipated because the other homeowner wanted them to do something else. The two of them worked together very well. They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing."

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."
