Chris took the time to educate me on solar energy as well as to provide the most sensible design to give me the greatest amount of solar energy production for the available space and layout of my roof. Joseph, the crew foreman, was a delight to work with, and he was very responsive when problems came up. They thought of all the little details to make the installation aesthetically pleasing, like running the cable down along the back of the rain spout to hide it from view and painting it to match the stucco so that it virtually disappeared. Throughout the entire installation process, they went the extra mile, and they treated me as if I were a VIP.
Were there problems during the installation? Yes. The City Building Department lost my application, and then both their inspector and the inspector from SDG&E were annoyingly nitpicky. But IES handled all these problems with grace and elan.
