I decided to look around and found Jay Cruz and Precise Plumbing that night. Jay called me the next morning, told him the work that needed to be done and how much the other plumber was charging. After speaking to Jay, he seemed honest, knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about. He quoted me way less than what the plumber was charging and told me they could get it done today. So I ended up going with them and was glad I did. They came and knocked out the job in a few hours. His crew member Alan was also nice, professional and very knowledgeable. Best part was that Jay charged me even lower than what he quoted me earlier that day. Jay and Precise Plumbing saved the day for me and my family. "The proprieter, Mr. Hernandez, helped me select a new tankless water heater to replace my old one. He was generally easy to communicate with and did what he said he was going to do. Although this was a replacement water heater, the plumbing had to be replaced to fit the new unit. A few hours after he installed the new water heater, I noticed a minor problem, texted Mr. Hrnandez, and he was at my house an hour later, at 9:00 pm, to fix it. I have had many craftsmen work on my house over the years. It's usually pretty frustrating and aggravating. When there was a problem after other jobs, most of them told me my house was defective, admitted that the problem was their fault but refused to fix it, claimed that I did not understand the situation, or just stopped responding to my communications. Mr., Hernandez responded instantly to my text message and was at my house an hour later (at 9:00 pm) to fix the problem. He is a skilled professional plumber and an honorable person. I hope to do some significant remodeling that will require rebuilding some of my house's plumbing, and I'll try to get Mr. Hernandez to come back for the work."

"The free estimate was conducted by phone with Matt.  He answered all of our questions fully, confirming that we did not need to install a larger unit and that all usual pipe and/or valves that needed to be replaced would be included in the quoted price.
The installer, Bobby, showed up within the stated time period, which was only two hours after the initial contact. He got right to work and was efficient, neat, and skilled.  He removed the old unit, took out some unnecessary pipes that were left from an old solar heating unit, and quickly installed the new unit.  He then demonstrated the thermostat operation, which is very different from the previous unit's, tested the operation, and cleaned up the area.
The price was reasonable. The unit has a good warranty (and looks nice ).  The Angie's List discount was applied with no problems.
My husband is a former plumber so he kept an eye on the whole install, and was pleased with the entire experience.

He sent a text message about 20 minutes early to let me know he was on his way. Once here, he had his mask and gloves on. He was able to assess the situation and within 45 minutes was able to complete the job. He also made recommendations on what to expect based on the age of the water heater and did recommend looking into getting another one soon. The payment was easy and affordable."

"I contacted the company. I got a call back from Manuel. I explained the problem. He came to the house within the hour and we agreed that the job would be completed today. We got a broken pipe in the garage fixed and a water pressure regulator installed. Then we tested the faucets and I was very happy about the water pressure and no leaks. There is a cost that was a little steep but we pay with emergencies. I recommend the company and also Manuel. Excellent!"
