"Overall, they did a good job. They are friendly and very helpful. we had a little mess to clean up after, but to be fair, I didn't complain -- if i had they would have come back. Preferably they would have come back to check on their own."

"I thought Ocean Seven Builders was the most honest and straightforward company, submitted the most comprehensive proposal (it included everything I needed for a great roof) and were the most competitive in pricing. The job was started a couple of weeks later and went off like clockwork. Finished in 3 days. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. Matt is a pleasure to do business with. "I went with Expert Home Builders on a room addition. The big and expensive project and bog responsibility but I'm happy I hired this contractor. David and his team showed up on time and they were great from first day to end of this project. David was knowledgeable, honest and helpful. He informed me about working progress all the time and contacted me immediately if there was something important. His team worked hard, kept working area clean as possible, they were professional, friendly and quick also. The project was finished ahead of schedule and results are excellent. The quality of work is superb, overall experience excellent and price very acceptable. I would highly recommend Expert Home Builders to all people I know!"

"Very detail oriented. Ensured every part was fastened properly and methodically, that water would drain away from the house correctly, and the roof would was secure in case of earthquakes. Inspected overall condition of roof as well. Also took note of any future issues that may develop from weather/wear and tear with other structural parts of the home. Punctual for both consultation and for the day of work. Excellent value and would hire again for future roofing or contracting needs.

"We did a total remodel of my husband's family home. It took over six months. Our next door neighbor is Andre Johnson who is starting up his own solar panel installation out of his home. He has been in the business for years, but felt now was the time for him to start his own business. After we moved in, we talked to him about solar installation...we got some other bids, but his was still the best. He and his son did the installation, then we called the city for the inspector to come out.
This is why I am writing this review. With the total remodel, we had a lot of city inspections, and we knew how particular they are. The inspector came out, went up on the roof for 10 or 15 minutes. Then he told Andre he wanted to talk to us. We thought...this can't be good. On the contrary....the inspector wanted us to know what an outstanding job they did. In fact, he said he had never seen such a perfect job. He had been to two other homes for solar installation inspection prior to ours, and neither one of them passed. He said they were done by well known, large local companies. He said the larger companies sub-contract out the work, so you don't get the pride of ownership kind of work that we got.
Andre has five different licenses on his business card. I did check his CA license....#958114...and he is in good standing with the state of California. One of the other licenses was his federal contracting license, and another one was with the State of California as a disabled vet.
If you are looking for any kind of solar panel installation, PLEASE call Andre for a bid. I really don't think you can find a better price, and I know you won't get a better job.
