"We recently moved from a home with a wireless system installed from a well known NJ Alarm company.  Their service was good, but when we moved into our current home - a home built in the late 1700's - we wanted to look at all alternatives.  When I came across the listing for FrontPoint Security on Angie's List I'd never heard of the company but based on the number of reviews and the "A" rating I wanted to check it out.  I did a bit of research on my own away from Angie's list and kept hitting upon this company.  There was also a competitor with the same type of business plan and equipment, but in the end I thought (and hoped) FrontPoint was the right solution for us.
Quite honestly, the last alarm we had was installed in 1999 and was a bit disappointing.  It was a wireless system but it needed a great deal of attention with respect to battery changing and it wasn't particularly friendly.  When I watched the videos and read the reviews on the FrontPoint system I was really appreciative of the ease of installation, the use of smartphones, the expansion capabilities, the ownership of the product and the excellent customer service which seemed to separate them from their competition.  Ultimately we purchased the system with motion detectors, smoke/heat detectors, a glass break alarm and about 20 sensors for doors/windows.  Again, it's worth noting that the age of the home gave me some concerns due to the fact that most of the walls were plaster, and the insulation was unknown to us.  In fact, the home is so sound proof compared to our old home built in 1998, that I doubted the cellular signals would work properly.  In addition, may of the doors and windows were original to the home and in several cases the doors were recessed into frames more than 2 inches.  I thought I might need the recessed door sensors, but that proved to be incorrect.
Ultimately after speaking at length with the sales rep at First Point who was really nice, patient and helpful, the sales was completed.  The box with the products arrived in short order and it is amazingly well organized and packaged.  Once I got myself organized and decided to install, the complete installation took less than an hour - including cleaning the areas where the products were installed.  I should add that prior to ordering, my wife and I went through the home determining how many sensors and how many of each other device to order.  When all the devices were installed, I phoned FrontPoint and they got me up and running.  There was one sensor - the glass break - which the customer service rep asked me to tweak a bit (i.e. remove the cover and turn a screw a couple of rotations) and then all sensors and other devices were ready to go.
It has been about a month and we are fully set up.  I love that my wife, myself and my two girls all have our own codes.  I love that my wife actually uses the system regularly and that I can look at status, history, receive notifications and set my alarm through my smartphone.  As of this writing I am a believe and would recommend the system to anyone looking to add a burglar alarm with fire/smoke detection.  In fact, I will be adding another smoke detector for my utility room based on a recommendation from my insurance company.  While I have not tried the other devices, I'm inclined to add some down the line.

They arrived on time and began cleaning right away.  One gentleman also inspected the furnace and informed me that it had a layer of dust that needed cleaning or could become a fire hazard.  I believe the service was over $400.  I did not purchase it.

The gentleman were professional, courtesy and left the house as clean as they had found it, but I would not do this service again.  They cleaned the ducts with a negative pressure system in a central duct and then vacuumed out the other ducts.  I question what it actually did to make my ducts cleaner and felt I could probably achieve the same results with my own vacuum.  I feel that this very reasonable offer was an opportunity to get in
