"Excellent service and quality installation. Totally clean install and done in 3 days as it was an oversize area. They were creative in filling in the extra area with a counter. The crew was delightful, quiet and respectful. I highly recommend American Standard Walk-In Tubs!"

"Katherine returned my initial email message with a phone call ... immediately! (I hadn't even logged offline yet.) She was very helpful, listened thoroughly, and exhibited a great deal of expertise. We were very peased that she was willing to provide service for an existing system installed by another company that had since gone out of business. During her visit to our home, she also took the time to provide us with a basic education on how our solar system worked and showed us how to interpret our electric bills' metering reports -- something that our original company had failed to do. When she pronounced our system "good to go", she granted us peace of mind. Based on our experience, we won't hesitate to recommend Katherine and the Solar Store to someone looking to install a new system or to service an existing one. We were relieved to find an honest and reliable solar company to take over upkeep and repair, and we know our solar system is now in good hands."

"We were very pleased with the Richard and Ben's work.  They were extremely professional and responded to all our questions and gave us some additional advise which regard to the vents and potential solutions which we ultimately implemented solving our leakage issues.  I also visited the company's site and researched other references prior to hiring Trusted.  In every case nothing but high marks were given and after our service I can see why.  Trusted will be my go-to HVAC contractor from now on.  Extremely professional.

"A 4-ton SEER 13 single-speed compressor and corresponding single-speed air mover was replaced with a SEER 21 with a two stage compressor and variable speed air mover. Everything could not have gone any smoother. The various specialists came on time with little gap between one completing and the next one starting. The basic installation, consisting of system leak test, removing the old system and installing the new system was completed in 5 hours. A subsequent duct cleaning, new pressure test and QC audit was equally efficiently done. All workers were polite, professional and cleaned up any dropped installation. All packing and the old system was removed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them."

"A team of three men installed a new furnace and connected AC in one day. Hoss led me through the process and kept in touch at all appropriate times. The installers were knowledgeable and thorough. I would hire this company again."

Install Garbage Disposal questions, answered by experts

It’s one thing that helps, alongside vinegar and baking soda. Ice acts as an exfoliant, helping to lift off any bits of food stuck on the disposal blades.

No, you do not need a garbage disposal to have a dishwasher. A dishwasher will work without one, and while it's rare to see a home with a dishwasher that doesn't have a disposal, it is possible. The two appliances pair well and are often installed together because a disposal simplifies meal cleanup.

However, your dishwasher should not be used as a replacement for a garbage disposal. Subjecting it to continuous food leftovers can lead to major clogs. If you choose not to install a garbage disposal, you should thoroughly rinse your plates or scrape excess food into the trash or a compost pile before loading them into the dishwasher to prevent plumbing issues.

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.

To prevent drain clogs, perform regular maintenance and cleaning. Avoid disposing of substances like grease or coffee grounds down the sink. Additionally, installing and routinely using drain strainers can help catch debris and prevent blockages from forming.

Garbage disposals can be considered bad for the environment due to their electricity usage, but good for the environment because they reduce the food waste sent to landfills. If everyone used a garbage disposal, it would tax the wastewater treatment facilities in that region, but if we had to choose one of the options, we’d say they are a net positive on the environment when used correctly.
