"Orett was very professional, timely and worked hard to get the job done. He did our HVAC cleaning and dryer vent cleaning for a single family home. He showed me his cleaning process throughout for â before and afterâ to show his work. I would recommend Phoenix Air Duct Cleaning Pro to anyone in the Tucson area."

Small jobs welcome

"We contacted, via listing with ANGI, Triton Home Care Services to contract for cleaning our dryer vent. What a wonderful find! Michael answered a plethora of questions, both on the phone and in person when starting the job. He had the equipment to facilitate the job and completed the cleaning within his stated timeframe. The price was very reasonable (and a surprise given the unbelievable quotes I had been receiving during my search for this service). If you are in need of this service, you cannot go wrong contracting with Triton Home Care Services. Jan S. 5/20/2026"

"This company is worthy of not only an "A" rating, but an "A+" rating. The three man crew that arrived at the house were awesome! They were professional, friendly, great communicators, and hard workers. They went right to work after a brief walk thru to show them the scope of work we were asking to have done. The crew went to work immediately, each having their own assignments to accomplish the cleaning. The carpets turned out better than they ever have! They even got the areas of the carpeting that see the most foot traffic clean! The crew was very careful not to run the cleaning equipment into the door jambs and base boards. They placed corner protectors at each door jamb to make sure their equipment didn't scratch these surfaces. The owner/management team of this company was a pleasure to deal with from the initial contact to all follow up communications both before and after the job. You can't go wrong with using the Carpet Police for your carpet cleaning jobs. We can only imagine how well they can perform all the other cleaning services that they offer."

Dryer Vent Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Your dryer vent hose should be as straight as you can possibly get it. A straight vent means less lint buildup in the hose. If the hose has a lot of bends and turns, it’s much easier and much more likely for lint to get stuck along the line, meaning you’ll have to clean it out a lot more often to decrease the risk of a total blockage or a fire.

The frequency of cleaning your dryer depends on how often you use it. For regular households, it is recommended to clean the lint trap after each load of laundry. Additionally, thorough cleaning of the dryer—lint trap, drum, and exterior—should be done every few months. It's important to pay attention to the vent system as well. Ideally, it should be cleaned at least once a year, or six months if your dryer takes care of huge loads often, or more frequently if you notice reduced drying efficiency.

You will know if your dryer is overheating by placing your hand on top to feel its temperature. If it’s hot to the touch, that’s a clear sign the dryer is overheated. Other signs include your laundry coming out hotter than usual, a burnt smell when it’s running, or burn marks on your laundry.

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

You can install a washer and dryer in most places throughout your house, provided you have the proper plumbing lines and electrical outlets needed. You’ll also need enough space to install ventilation for the dryer, which can limit where you install the washer and dryer. Common places to install a washer and dryer in a house include a dedicated laundry room, the basement, a bathroom, a hall closet, or even a kitchen. Keep in mind: It will cost a lot more money to install a washer or dryer in a space that is not currently designed to support these appliances.
