I have been in the construction industry in the valley for over 25 years, very experienced with every aspect of home remodeling to design and build new homes, plumbing repairs, electrical, concrete, painting, drywall. "DreamStyle Remodeling Does not Honor Their Lifetime Warranty Representation On January 20, 2025 we started to call DreamStyle’s customer service to request help repairing the shower we purchased in 2019 that came with a “lifetime warranty”. During a shower some of the parts from the shower fell into the shower floor. This is something we did not know how to put back together. When my husband called the customer service number, he was quickly transferred to another phone number. It always rolled over to voice mail. Over the course of a week, he left 3 messages. The following Monday he again called the customer service number in both Phoenix and Albuquerque and requested to talk to a supervisor regarding not receiving call backs from messages. A supervisor was not available at either site, but he was assured by both that he would receive a call back that day. Three days later and we have not received a call back from anyone. We have now reached the conclusion that we are being intentionally ghosted and there is no intention of honoring the warranty. If you are looking at a shower remodel do not use DreamStyle if you want a company that honors their warranty."

"It is hard to review this company. The contractor they sent to do my widows was great! His name is Heath Coffield from Coffield construction. So, this company does have great work. However, their customer services outside of the contractor they hired is not great. They will go weeks on end without giving you any type of update and since they do not notate things will, there was miscommunication."

There are a few ways to check whether your tub is fiberglass or acrylic. If your tub is a color other than white, then your tub is likely acrylic (as fiberglass tubs are usually white). Check to see if there is discoloration on the bottom of the tub, because if it’s yellowed, then you can be fairly sure it’s fiberglass.

Also, fiberglass tubs have thinner edges and are cool to the touch. Acrylic, on the other hand, is either room temperature or warm to the touch.

Acrylic bathtubs can last up to 30 years without major issues if they receive the right care and maintenance. They can last even longer but might scratch or stain as they age. The expected longevity is a major factor when investing in a new tub. Cast-iron tubs are the longest-lasting option.

Refinished bathtubs typically need to be refinished every five years or so. Frequent cleaning and use will break down the finish and make cracks and chips appear more readily.
